TONY-T Presents: Proof of the "TOASTY BOOST!"

Say what? Exactly... it seems a lot of people have either just heard of this or they haven't, but TONY-T is here with proof. What is the "Toasty Boost"? We're not quite sure but from what was gathered, it is a random bonus (full-meter?) that is given, in this case, to the one taking the damage. Dan Forden appears on the bottom right side of the screen like usual, however as seen in these pictures taken by TONY-T... Dan gives you a nice added bonus of full-meter?

His story is, him and a friend were playing. TONY-T (Jax) vs his friend (Kratos) and he upper-cutted his friend and next thing you know... "TOASTY!" followed by the text on the lower-left side of the screen, "TOASTY BOOST". NOTE: He has no idea what he did to make it happen*

i've only seen this happen 3 times, i heard it works if you get hit while Dan Forden's face is on screen after a TOASTY

But this is MK. So.... :p

Oh and this is BANNED in all tournaments. Because this is random. So never learn it. Cause it won't matter.

I thought I heard Tom Brady talk about this in a tournament in the middle ages. I think his exact words were " Oh haha, hes gunna win by the toasty boost".

This has happend to me many times, never had any importance in any match I've played though. It almost always olny works after an uppercut.

Regardless of this being banned or not... how EXACTLY do you do it? Is there a certain input you enter while Dan Forden's face is on screen or something? I don't understand where the link between his saying toasty and the toasty boost comes in. What is the connection that makes one lead to the other

wtf! how come this has to come out now only hours away from unveiling my new toasty boost infinite tech. i just win by landing like 6 xray's per match.

I've gotten this before, only once though.

My theory is that it happens from the opponent getting a hit while dan forden is triggered by the other player. Never bothered testing it though as I think it'd be impossible except with certain projectile setups.

I'm sure this theory could be proven or disproven with cyraxes bombs/raidens EX lightning. The one time it did happen for me it was me playing cyrax vs a sonya, and I believe she uppercut me triggering toasty, then got hit by a bomb causing the toasty boost.

My theory is that if Dan Forden's face comes out and you do a special move (I think it has to hit, not get blocked) you get a bonus of full meter.

So does that code not mean anything?? The code is like

0-0-Bearded Raiden - Bearded Raiden-0-0

and it will pop up Toasty Boost backwards. Does that code need to be inputted?

I've got it! After Forden's appearence hit the opponent with another uppercut and you get the boost.

Ughhh maybe this really can't be banned. Since people actually found out how to do it.

Patch this OUT of normal gameplay. And make it kombat kode exclusive.

Thank god Toasty is so random as it is.

Less Random a fighting game , the better. No? -__-

Exactly why it won't make a factor in tournament play. Just because you know how to do it doesn't mean you will be able to do it.
