a little confused here on the topic of alternate costumes. I have sub-zero from mk3 without the mask, is that not what everyone is talking about?

i'm sure most of us already have the movie, the soundtrack if you have the strategy guide or you torrented it, all the dlc, and the arcade kollection (if you wanted to spend money on that). so we can all bypass this and not be angry about it. except for a couple mishaps here and there they've done really good on the game. just be happy that you didn't have to buy 8 versions of the same game like on the capcom side.

I'm happy with nrs right now for doing what they're doing for ketchup and mustard for the uk. But I'm really pissed at them for having the nerve to call this komplete edition without giving us the umk3 ninja skins. How slick to put the umk3 skins on the vita but not the console. This alone is the reason I'm not buying either. If they do put the umk3 skins on console, I'll be happy to buy a vita, mk9 for vita, and the komplete edition. Until then I'm not buying shit. I've been die hard since 93 so I think I have the right to be pissed.

Releasing the same game with DLC included a year later has been standard operating procedure for video games for a while now. I don't understand why peoples faces are exploding over there being no new features.

It shouldn't cost more than 40 bucks over in the States... Here in Europe all pre-orders for MK:KE are around 30 euro's - a fair price. Let's hope that everything is on disc (or maybe that the download edition becomes cheaper when they release MK:KE).

Well to be fair they do get the soundtrack and re-release of the first movie included, but yeah, our version is still better value all things considered.

Didn't know that the movie was missing in the EU. But I'm reading that it's a download anyway, who want's to pay 20 bucks for a 1995 movie- (that just came out on blueray for 10 dollar & approx 7 dollar or less on DVD) and some mp3 files....
They sure want every last penny out of MK in the US, if they really want to attract costumers they should just make that GOTY as complete and as cheap as possible.

I don't want a new game yet. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm still playing the hell out of MK9. I manage to find enough people to play with online and I live in Japan, so I don't want to hear anyone bitching about "dead online" unless you live in Africa or on the moon.

Plenty of us are pissed because as console users were promised lots more DLC in the beginning, including DLC fatalities, that never came.

So maybe its sense of entitlement because i feel we deserve it, not having to just shell out $300-$400 just to get them.

Maybe they were referring to the fatalities that came with the DLC costumes.

It's possible they made the new outfits specifically for the Vita, in which case it may be a lot of work to port them to the PS3.

The game is absolutely great the way it is, and I hear there's even another patch in the works that might improve some things. Which they do for free. And if this is the final version of MK9 it's still an awesome game. Better even than MK2, which was my previous favorite.
