Where does one get a wired PS3 controller from? There aren't good ones that I know of. SONY doesn't make them. Most players use PS2 controllers with a converter. We have got to get over that "no wireless controllers" rule. It's doing much more harm than good. You are basically forcing everyone to get a converter (unless they play on a stick) just because the possibility exists that somebody might forget to un-synch their controller and interrupt a match. As long as they are wired, then yes.
No disrespect to anybody, but I agree with Raidenwins here.Where does one get a wired PS3 controller from? There aren't good ones that I know of. SONY doesn't make them. And in the spirit of constructive criticism, as opposed to just criticism, here is an idea. Have dedicated controllers for each station, those are the only controllers that can be used and you therefore eliminate the de-synch issue. How many stations are there going to be at the MK tourney? My guess is no more than 2. Then we need 4 controllers and they will be the only ones used so no one has to synch and de-synch. Thoughts?
This is so true. I do own a wired PS3 controller made by Pelican and that thing is horrific, almost as bad as an XBox 360 controller. No disrespect to anybody, but I agree with Raidenwins here.

Lastly, there are some wired PS3 controllers, but these are plastic and have horrible shoulder buttons. The last time I bought one, the block button kept sticking and part of its right handle broke off. I never bought such a controller ever again. If anybody knows of a wired PS3 controller that works well, by all means, astonish me.
PLEASE, BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLERS, IF YOU CAN, TO FACILITATE WITH THE SPEED OF THE TOURNAMENT.
Natsu is a stupid bitch just like Mileena. Damn these female characters!
We were responding to Zoidberg's post where he confirmed the bit about wired controllers.I just read through the first post again. How the hell did we miss this?
I'm just saying it sounds like they'll have controllers there so no need to use a terrible 3rd party one.We were responding to Zoidberg's post where he confirmed the bit about wired controllers.
You should still come out bro, we will most likely get a good amount of casuals in, im also down for money matches if I dont go broke beforehand.Holy shit, some serious competition at this one. I wanna gooooooo. Dammit
Its a UCC sanctioned tournament so maybe they are enforcing the rules that will be in effect at the major...I don't understand why they can't just let use our wireless PS3 controllers. This is not EVO, it's not that critical if someone accidentally forgets to de-synch and interrupts a match, which is highly unlikely to happen anyway.
Believe me if i could, I'd be all over it..but real life is interfering. Gotta pay those pesky bills. If I went to this, I would not be able to make Texas Showdown. I haven't accrued enough personal time this year yet. Rock and a hard place bro, rock and a hard placeYou should still come out bro, we will most likely get a good amount of casuals in, im also down for money matches if I dont go broke beforehand.
There is a way, haha. I have a Pelican one and it's really bad.Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a 3rd party controller. (There's no way the d-pad can be worse than the 360's, right?) Plus I've been playing SCV all week so I might get mindfucked playing a 2D fighter again.
Kill me now.
