Him going over the strings with me was huge, all the different NDC Kabal can perform. Also reptile can dash out of his pressure, so if you guess right you completely sway the match, so I save meter when Kabal gets in and try to guess right with an ex dash, especially in the corner this is a 40% combo for Rep.
Never jump, there is no need to at all in this matchup. Slow ball and fastball both beat iaf and if you guess when hes throwing out a saw blade, ex fastball block low dash in for combo.
One thing I found odd was if hes iaf you can't spit but you can dash. So if you know hes going into iaf spam you can dash into slide and theres really nothing Kabal can do about it.
If kabal stays on the ground so his fbs won't whiff, you can spit trade and get a slow ball on screen.
Another thing to remember is he can NDC at anytime and into any move so while its a huge risk, knowing that hes most likely isn't going to Nomad Dash the entire screen when he sees you blocking try to bait it out and since Reo is godlike at stopping RIGHT IN FRONT on you lol go right into a string once you see Nomad dash for either combo or a block string. All comes down to making the right reads.
Also we can dash punish pretty much any of his moves.
