The asian players took seriously ? aris took it seriously ? Prog ? chris did arrow combos from the first weeks after a year still.
What are these tired, 14 year old talking points?

Why are we bringing back Injustice Era, "NRS don't make real fighting games" discourse? This has all been settled.

Nobody cares except elitists that want to pump themselves up by tearing others down.

We had an era where lots of players from other games would come enter our tournaments. MK9 through the start of Injustice, it was common to see Justin Wong, PR Rog, etc. in NRS brackets.

That era is over, because since the middle of Injustice, all those players were bodied unceremoniously, and they know they have no chance. Even with the changes between games, the legacy mechanics of the NRS system keep people who aren't specializing in these games from getting very far.
Getting full combos off throws, lows, overheads and staggers ain’t that hard my man lol

If you're losing the blockstring/stagger/autoshimmy/poke/special/microduck game, you're not going to be getting that many combos. Anyone can convert once they get a hit, but you're not just going to be opening people up left and right unless you're comfortable with how our games work.

I am proud to be one of the scrubs that bodied such players back in the MK9/Injustice era. Often for them to never be seen again lol

It's kind of a testament to the games requiring the effort to stay relevant. If I could beat you back in 2012-2013 it's was time to pack it up.
