Who all is maining Cyrax? What Kameos are you using?

So far I'm enjoying Sonya and Sektor, and looking to test Frost and Tremor

Yeah I've been lacking this month but all the time I've spent playing since the DLC drop has been Sektor and Cyrax.

I love Sektor, but I started messing with Cyrax a couple days ago and I just can't stop playing her. This is deadass the perfect Cyrax moveset, IMO. She's cheap af just requiring a little execution for some of the setups.

This is my billionth life cycle.
Just dipping my toes into the character now, but Sub Zero seems super good - feels like every move he has does something Cyrax wants. Ice armor is great, shoulder is great to actually end a string in a safe way, and freeze gives disgusting setups and turns b1 into a full combo. Early days but parry conceptually seems really great, with uses like d1 parry, whiff punish with parry, or mixing 23 parry, 23 parry throw (plus, jails s1), 234 (plus), etc.

Anyone have a combo off of sweep into bomb popup? The normal conversion from grab / b2 doesn't seem to work, the grav scaling seems completely jacked.

I've been doing b4 (bomb) s3 bf1, df2 df2 df2, (bomb 1) s1 (bomb 2) s1 (bomb 3) sub freeze, does like 25% looped back into original setup scenario

played against someone using Sareena for the B1 combo as well. having to deal with the extra threat of B1 up close and projectiles in the range game makes Cyrax so much more frustrating to deal with imo

EDIT: I don't think the Sub ice armor is really a factor when she can trade a goo ball in the zoning game and go into the vortex.

idk I think goo ball is great but sometimes you are just going to get zoned and will take a lot of damage / chip waiting for that trade to happen, especially not great if you're at a life deficit.

This is my billionth life cycle.
You can add 10-13% to any grounded goo conversion with a baby reset that I'm pretty sure is completely unavoidable (no jump, no poke, no armor, no neutral duck):

any button into bf1 > df2, dash f2, instant b1 -- 13% reset into air goo combo route, but pretty hard
any button into bf1 > dbf2, dash 23, instant b1 -- 10% reset into air goo combo route, I find this one much easier

Damage percents above were assuming 11 starter, so will be even more if other strings. I've only been using sub zero so far for kameo so I can't speak to all kameo scenarios, but doing this reset into the air conversion route does way more damage than any normal grounded route

Cyrax and Scoprion. I want my damage. 40%+ no meter 1 kameo bnb plus after hellfire if you want to stop the combo early to throw bombs for a reset, you can. So you kinda get the whole package. Eventually I want to try Movado.

Here's the reset I'm talking about, for some reason I'm having trouble getting off of s23 but am consistent off of f2, usually its the other way around. First loop Johnny is blocking, second jumping, third shadow kick:

Anyone managed to find any dirt with the Sektor rockets yet. I really wanna use the Sektor kameo with Cyrax cos they look great together once you unlock the klassic helmet, but I can't seem to find any reason to choose Sektor over the other kameos except for aesthetic reasons

I didnt buy Cyrax (yet), but I've seen plenty of people who call the up rocket, then do a command grab - if the opponent gets grabbed, they are eating a full combo into bomb loops regardless of teching the grab. If they neutral duck, rocket is still stopping them from full comboing you. Only way out is jumping backwards or forwards, and now you can read this and use mids/lows to catch them.

You can also end combos into bomb + sektor rocket. Do the 3 hit saw move (breaks armor on wakeup), rocket will hit them once the move ends and now they also have to guess between getting grabbed (the bomb will launch them for a full combo back into the loop) or jumping to avoid the grab and getting hit with a mid/low/fast high.

Idk what you're trying to accomplish in this clip but as far as them getting hit by a bomb, you're not waiting long enough before hitting the opponent. The timing for what it seems like you're trying to do is strict but I wouldn't recommend doing it the way you're doing it in this clip. I'm actually confused on what you're trying to do. Combat goop is full combo but you're going into a reset? Help me understand I may be able to help you out.

What I’m accomplishing here is turning your 31% bnb from a grounded hitconfirm into a 44% bnb.

You can use the hit advantage of f2 or 23 to get a guaranteed reset, leading into the aerial conversion combo bnb, like any old bomb conversion, AA, or b2 launch. That route does the same amount of damage as the grounded route, so doing a 13% guaranteed reset prior jacks up your damage a ton.

There’s isn’t really anything to help with, just see which of the two you like better and do that (23 or f2), obviously f2 is ultimately better since it’s more damage.

Oh. I thought you saying "I'm having trouble" doing a certain string in that scenario you may need some help. That's what I thought it was. My bad lol

Pretty nutty showing from Zeeus, I'm a believer in Cyrax / Sektor now as the potential best kameo in many MUs. The setplay honestly looks stronger than Sub / Cyrax double bomb setups, seemingly restricts their options a ton - need to lab the covering db4 with Sektor as making armor safe + potentially plus, or converting off of an AA db4 seems incredible. I've been using db4 a lot recently just raw to AA, and its really solid, so getting some conversion afterward without using Mavado would be awesome.

Damn the secret is out. Not being able to tech her throw without getting hit by Sektor rocket is also just busted. (This affects some large number of characters, There should be a list somewhere)
