He looks exactly as boring as I was afraid he would be. Sword swingy man. You know shit is ass when things that could be strings are specials, that sword spin looks goofy as fuck.
Even his resurrection is lame. Having to manually set it up and then hope you die? When Jason nearly 10 years ago could revive automatically, and even had the added mechanic of using meter to come back with more health.
His parry is funny at least
And "He's gonna be good" dickriders can kill that noise ahead of time. Hellboy was also a top tier character, but was beyond fucking boring
Actually, it seems to me at least that his animations where all refined, and he looks a lot more better than he did on the teaser, doesn't look as stiff and has added weight on the animations, you can feel he is carrying something heavy in his hands.
His gameplay looks interesting, he is not super technical sure, but bro has added sauce, and even an mk9 style of restands, moves he can chargeup despite looking goofy on those kicks, but i think that's kinda the point, he is a sword brute, he doesn't practice kicks, though i wish this could also translate in his jump arc.
When 16bit said, "if you enjoyed Bane in injustice" i was glad because at some point we also need characters who are straight forward into their goals, which is a good thing.
All an all, i still think this was well made, kinda sucks that these guests are being put into MK, NRS should just convince their investors and have a full movie fighting game franchise going, with the knowledge they have now, i can already see it, and i would definitely buy it, not only would be great, but every corp would want their characters in it, would be a massive break from MK games, and they would have the chance to explore quite a lot with movesets, mechanic and such, and by the time they released an MK game with 0 guests, would be such a win, because fighting games with no guests at least relevant enough in the same caliber are kinda non existent currently after all.
