MK1 Season 3 DLC wishlist

I noticed one for SF6, and though it would be for MK1, but here is a list for MK1 season 3 and based on what was displayed, what i do wish to see in the future game

1. System improvements, allow to search for matches while doing practice mode and other stuff, online netcode improvement as wel.

After that here are some characters i would hope to see in the future, i know NRS doesn't do a Season Pass without Guests and they need to get permits stil so for Guest, there isn't much characters to pull from either

  1. Michael Myers
  2. Skarlet, so we could have all female Ninjas in the roster
  3. kung Jin or Bo' Rai Cho
  4. Hotaru or Sareena
Kameos
  1. Sisterhood of Shadows (Kia, Jataaka and Sareena as kameos in one single slot)
  2. Hsu Hao or Drahmin
  3. No Face or Dairou
  4. Kajin (fire god), Fujin, Suijin (water god) and Dojin (Earth God) all in one slot assists

the game is mostly stacked and i can't see having lots more characters to pick from, my choices are weird, and most of these characters are obscure as hell, hence why my specific picks for Mains and for Kameos

But would love to see what you guys think, would also be interesting someone picking up cetrion as Kameo, or Khronika or maybe Classic Shao Kahn just to stir shit up

There is already datamined content indicating the next characters are Jade, Kung Jin and Cassie, and I don't expect us to get other characters beside those three. As for Kameos, I'd probably bet Kotal Kahn, Skarlet and Drahmin would be a safe choice - two popular characters and an unpopular one redesigned.

I imagine the leaked Kombat Kodes would also be feature in a "Season 3" DLC.

Kotal/Drahmin/Hotaru/Pinhead would probably be my wish list. Happy for those that'll enjoy jade/kung/cassie but meh. I think cassie makes some sense as we only have kameo sonja (which I still think is super weird given she's OG cast, but kano got the same so...??) .

I'd also love the from the top rope hsu hao main or something like that. Just to really flex their redesign's and what not, but so be it.

The datamine got updated a few days ago. Some of these are kameos and some are characters but nobody really knows which are which yet (except the obvious ones like Mokap)

Blaze, Cassie, Hanzo, Triborg, Jade, Kotal, Nightwolf, Daegon, Hsu Hao, Mokap, Jarek

There's also 2 characters who aren't affected by Interlokos filters, which means they're guests

Anyone else find it weird that Takeda is the only MK DLC with no story relevance so far?

I could see another expansion coming with Hanzo and two more to round out a small story mode DLC that includes Takeda somehow. Takeda has a lot of Dialogue referencing Hanzo and the Shirai Ryu.

While I'm just spitballing ideas, having Kuai be Scorpion and Hanzo be teased seems like a sneaky way to make Scorpion DLC, but no way WB would do something like that, right?

What would Hanzo even do? We already have Scorpion with all his signature moves, both Human and Revenant/Order of Darkness (which, according to invasions, IS Hanzo) versions. We have Sub-Zero and we have Noob as well. I doubt they'd have a second Scorpion or a second Sub-Zero, and we also have Takeda, which is supposedly the "new gen" Shiray Ryu with rope weapons (whips).

We had Cassie, Johnny, and Sonya all in the same game 2x. When Frost is in, they dont exclude Sub-Zero. It really doesn't matter what he'd do. He could have the same theme and aesthetic but be a different archetype. I'd really personally like him to be a Sword Fighter, but I'm sure they could think of something to make him unique.

Im not picky with KP3 characters, what i wish for is the base non DLC roster to be updated with new strings and moves.

narr.. there is a reason most fighting games NEVER do this. Even so NRS dose add things now and then.. but I'd much prefer new toons than a few extra strings here and there.

exactly... they add moved now and then, but not often. NRS added new moves in Khaos so, there won't be any for a while

To be honest - it was the perfect roster IMO. The only person I would definitely buy is Harley Quinn. But, in order, I would like...

Jade
Shujinko
Bo Rai Cho
Ferra/Torr

I would buy any of the last 5 only if they looked fun.
