TYM: Under New Ownership

@STORMS and I have finalized our deal to transfer ownership of TYM over to me. It will take about another few weeks to get everything transferred and set up, but in the meantime, I'm eager to get to work!

I'm excited, humbled, and more than a little nervous to be taking on this role. I believe this is an excellent community and I hope to exceed your expecations for what this site can become.

In the short term, I'll be assembling a team of mods to help manage the site. If you're interested in taking on a moderation role, please PM me. I'm particularly interested in character specialists who can help keep their designated forums clean and presentable. Positions are currently unpaid, though that will change once the site is generating enough revenue to support mod payments. My plan is to divy up gross revenue among the TYM team, but am still working out those numbers.

I'll also be working on just getting the site up to 2021 standards. We still have a lot of character icons missing and other minor issues that need to be cleaned up.

You submitted many great ideas in the TYM Updates thread, and I'll be going through there to see which of those ideas we can make happen.

So, that's all for now. Thanks for making TYM such an awesome site, and here's to another decade of digitally murdering each other!

It's always been there, it just replaced words with [soap bar in my mouth]. Now it just replaces certain words with asterisks and we rounded out the list of words we don't want used on the site.

today I wanted to watch for some combos in the RoboCop forum and I noticed again that there are no new characters' portraits to pick in the forum overview. Wasn't this something you wanted to address/add?

One more thing which is pretty annoying and easy to change - profile posts character limit, please change it to something more reasonable like 1000 - 1500 characters. It's annoying sometimes to write like 3 messages one after another. This is like 1 minute work, in ACP just change "Maximum profile message length".
