He has really good buttons like for example his st Hk wich is save, long reach and hitconfirmable.
He controls air.
He has juggles that are really hard to break.
Really good corner carry.
His mixups with tongue are really good.
His instinct is one of the best.
He doesnt really have any bad mu's excpect a few.
Etc.

@Ck AeroVoid Shame, okay. Hopefully your schedule will allow you to join us, at least from time-to-time.

For Rash, yes, he's considered Top Tier for all the reasons @Hellbringer mentioned. The top five in the game, as I recall, in no particular order are:

  • ARIA
  • Rash
  • Fulgore
  • Omen
It's tossed back and forth whether it's Mira, Eyedol, or Shadow Jago in the last spot (some people also argue Shadow Jago is bottom tier).

Speaking of bottom tier, Sadira and Kan-Ra are considered the "worst" in the game, but since the game is so very balanced, that by no means means they're trash. Sadira in the right hands, for example, can easily place top 8 in a major tournament.

This thread shows a Tier List LetalisVenator made a year ago. Here's Infil's list from a patch ago.

So disappointed in myself. I figured out what happened: Instead of doing an Ultra, which I thought I did, I did her Blade Demon Ender. I thought I killed him, and this input error simply didn't register in my old man brain for a few seconds. Scramble after that, and... sigh.

SO I just had the weirdest online experience ever. I play this dude called Alcatraz Prophet in ranked and Beat his ass hard core. He rage quits then I go back and watch the replay because I pulled off some good shit. The replay is COMPLETELY different. Like in the replay its him and I just standing full screen whiffing normal most of the time. I have never seen anything so crzy in my entire life. Too bad I wasn't capturing at the same time. Ill make sure to capture next time I see him. Please tell me you guys have had this happen because I felt crazy for a minute as if I had day dreamed I was beating that ass the whole match and then saw something completely different

DUde that was so close. I freeze in those situations and nothing that I want to come out comes out.

I actually record all of my matches live and rarely watch the replays, so for myself, I've never had this occur. I have had it happen in Strategy Games before. The game simply failed to record inputs properly and thus the replay is broken.

Yeah, I should not have lost that match. I even started putting my Controller down saying "I won," and I just couldn't fathom what was going on a second later. Old man brain...

Obviously neither myself or this guy are very good but I was pretty happy with this performance and pulling off some of the newer things I've learned in the past 48 hours.

Lol I di that against a dude that was a total dick on his mic in MK 11 after hitting him with my fatal at the end of a combo thinking it would kill. I just hit the fatal blow set the controller on the ground and walked into the kitchen to get a drink and came back to hear him totally roasting me on HIS win screen cause it left him with last breath lol.

Thank you sir. I have basically just been taking match after match online and then going to the lab to learn more of the game itself. Knowing that you can shadow counter blocked shadows and two hitting normals has helped a ton. Also working in some of that instinct cancel stuff is making me feel a little more confident. Im starting to get the feel of how normals work in this game. I found it odd that frame data was not listed for regular normals just command normals.
The only match up I get on a regular basis that I am completely clueless in is Glacius.

Yesterday i had a match where i won against a guy talking shit in mic so i taunted woth rash. Kinda left my computer cause i forgot it was ft2 and came back to see him already won second game and half of my lifebar and ofcourse i got teabagged but i diserved it for being dumb lol.

Use instinctcancel to make his overhead and low mixup safe, and right after his howl (his down up special) if u cancel instinct you can follow up with combo or recapture with his shadow overhead.
Against glacius you can react to his unblockable but you have ti be ready. Also dont let him corner you cause his cornergame is one of the best with a million different setups.

I havent quite figured out the optimal way to follow up his DU special. The shadow version of that has a hitbox that is basically unfair so its the next thing Im going to mix into to the tool belt.
Thanks for the advice on the instinct cancel by the way. He gets free cancels while the instinct is active with a short cool down period which is my play style to a T. I played HQT Predator in MKX and 1st Rd Ko Jacqui for the same reason. I just love cancels.
I am gonna have to find a way to lab Glacius cause that match up just has me baffled I will for sure take the advice. When he summons those ice balls that float around him I just feel paralyzed while they are on the screen.

His projectiles do tiny damage when they hit you while you are in the air so dont let them stop you from jumping cause thats when you get caught with his unblockable when you try to focus blocking his projectiles.
Also his jumping HK (that superlong reach icelance he does in the air) has a hitbox so u can do cr. FK or his down up special to hit him out of the air.
I play glacius quiet abit lately so if you wanna learn how to play against im always down to help.
