He guys apologize for not getting back to you Ive been tied up past few days. Still having a great time learning the game. Curious as to how you lab in this game as far as match ups. My problem right now is I just have no clue that anyone can do or what their moves hit types are and how to block them. Di you guys learn most basic defense such as blocking just by playing a lot? Im starting to get the hang of spotting opponents' auto doubles and basically just trying to key in on the speed of the movement rather visually confirming the animation. Gonna learn how to shadow break tomorrow in the lab.
Mostly just play survival on easy till you get each character to level 10. Then go on higher difficulty with characters you like.
Our if you have fam who plays have them go like this with you:
Pick same character ,first to 3 matches, all the way across the board!

So the way I mainly learned is this:
My dad races motorcycles
He watches and rides friends, say ducati
He learns said motorcycles racing lines
He adjusts his style to counteract theirs

Essentially match up exp will come by experience, and who plays said character
Easy ai? Casual family game? Hard ai? Ranked match?
I personally know a little bit about everyone, AND ALOT about, Say Riptor and Sabre Wulf.

Just play each character till they are level ten even if you dislike the playstyle. You don't need to learn the specific matchup as much as The CHARACTER THEMSELVES

Hey all,

Every year, I participate in the Crohn's and Colitis Canada's Gutsy Walk fundraising walk-a-thon. The walk this year is happening on Aug. 23rd, the same day as our next Casuals.

Because of the pandemic they're doing a "virtual walk" this year, where we walk by ourselves around our neighbourhoods. I expect to be done by 3:00 pm game-time, but if I'm not, I'll need someone else to host this one.

I'll let you all know.

I think UltraDavid made a video awhile back on how to learn from watching tournaments and online footage. S

Hey, that's awesome!
Thanks! This'll be my fourth year of doing so, and they've been great experiences every time.

It's a shame with the pandemic as the the walk is usually held all together along the lakefront, but at least they've found an alternative!

Yeah, I normally do an Alzheimer's walk in the fall, I think they're planning on doing something similar, where people just walk around their neighborhood. It's too bad, it's normally held near the Summerfest grounds in Milwaukee, it's a nice area to walk.

My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's, and it was an awful thing to watch. She passed last year, but was long since no longer herself.

For the C&C walk, my region normally does it along the lakefront in the Town of Whitby. It's a nice venue, though one year we had to go an alternate route because the police were investigating a body found on our normal route!

Ironically, the alternate route was far more scenic.

Thanks for the matches @Hellbringer and @xKMMx ! Those were some good, fun sets.

@Ck AeroVoid dang, that time range completely conflicts with our Bi-Weekly Casuals. You work both Saturdays and Sundays?

@xKMMx Let us know any questions about the game and it's mechanics that you may have. You're also welcome to post matches here for us to give you advice on. If you don't know how to record on your PC, we can tell you.

@Hellbringer Rash is a character I don't understand very well. I know he's considered top tier, and he seems to have all the tools available to him: Fast advancing normals, high mobility, corner carry, corner juggles, etc. He has very strong pressure. What do you find in the way of weaknesses for him?
