NRS working on a Marvel Fighting Game?

some heroes are born, some made, some wondrous
Is NRS, a company published by WB Games, and WB owns DC Comics and their direct competitor is Disney, who own Marvel Comics. So. Is WB making something from the IP of their direct competitors that Disney literally spent billions to own and control and make their own content for. Oh and btw have a deal in place with CapCom.

Yeah... that would be a NO.

People have been saying NRS is working on all kinds of things since 2013, haha. It’s never been true, but every year something new pops up.

We should all be used to the fact that Ed just trolls on Twitter by now :coffee:

You do know WB made the Lego Marvel games?

I have wanted since forever to be able to main Magneto by himself. I've never been big on the 3v3/2v2 games aside from MK9 Tag Mode, but I was raised on the X-Men above all others until MK came out. An MK/Injustice-style Marvel 1v1 game would be absolutely spectacular.
Are you me?

I HATED the Marvel vs Capcom games for their 3v3, frantic pace action. And I hate crossovers too, especially when they make zero sense (Spider-man vs Arthur from G&G or Phoenix Wright? I mean ... whaa?)

IT ALL GOES SO FUCKING FAST

I respect anyone who can pull their weight in a game like that or DBFZ, because trying to focus on so many variables at once is an insane task. But it's been 20+ years of almost exclusively team fighters, so maybe it's time to change course. Plus, after Marvel Infinite being the collective wash that it was and getting no numbers even though LOTS of people say it was a super-fun game, I would love for the turnaround from that to be a Marvel/X-Men 1v1 to rival Street Fighter and the like, instead of jumping to MVC4. There are too many characters and fights that I'd want to see.
Sabertooth, Juggernaut, Omega Red, Bishop, Mister Sinister, Jubilee, Rogue, Shatterstar, Psylocke, Silver Samurai...and if you add in Spider-Man and that whole bubble, forget about it. Carnage VS EVERYONE.

i'll pass both possible Marvel or DC releated stuff by NRS. Never been interested in both universe. Maybe a bit of Batman or Spider-Man games when i was eight.

Would love a new fighting game with Psylocke playable.

My favorite Marvel character simply for the amazing aesthetics of her powers. Sadly I can't imagine her being in a possible Marvel NRS game, they'd likely rely heavily on MCU + a few iconic mutants only.

After the whole FOX thing died down, mutants and the FF have been getting a lot of love in the comics lately.

WB Games has already done this before. They were the ones who made a lot of the Lego Games including - Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 which came out around the same time MvC Infinite did with Capcom. Not sure how all that works
