If you were the guy with the Mets hat on then yeah I introduced myself to you. I didn't say my forum name but my real name which is Rafael. We met near the end of the night when I asked about possibly getting the Saturn pad i just found modded. It was nice meeting you and I'm looking forward to going back. since I'm off Thursdays I'm sure you will see me a lot in there.
As for the first time being there, all I can say it was a pretty damn awesome place to visit. I've never been out there and the area is pretty nice with the mall being there. The Gamers Edge is pretty sweet aswell. I'm a comic book fan so seeing all the vintage comic art on top was awesome. But truth be told, I like this place cause people there actually play MK9. Not to say anything bad about The Next Level, but it's nothing but SF4 and MvC3.
As for my night? I had my ass handed to me tons of times but like one of the players there said, it's how you learn. It can't just be handed to you easily. Also, meeting some of the other players was pretty cool and they were very nice and humble. I was also surprised to know that the game I played a ton on the N64(MKT) is actually not the one that is played the most here in the states. Not to mention that KI Gold isn't even the same game as KI2.
but anyways, I'll make it my goal to make it there every Thursday now.
