People on this forum are actually surprised that people have varying opinions.
Also, just an aside, I come from a family of VERY casual gamers, but gamers. Without counting I have some 20-25 cousins between 18-40. A lot of them play k with me when theyre around. Im overly enthusiastic about my hobbies, so I try to catch them up on new characters and stuff. Yall are a lie to say Jacqui was more interesting than Ferra/Torr in MKX. She was literally just a gun character, and being lke "Oh this is Jax's daughter," just elicited the "Ah, wheres Jax?" response.
But on topic, RoboCop having a LKCyborg skin is literally a sign of how they want to appease fans but still just make the game that THEY want. Which is cool. Its their work, money, ideas, thats their right. I find it weird that people put the guest character blame on WB, like, yeah, theyre the ones saying that they want guests for sales and all that, but are we gonna pretend like these characters arent all ironically from a similar time period? Like maybe someone has a bias towards the 80's? Terminator? Ash? RoboCop? Spawn and Joker sorta push us into the early 90's, but only on Spawns end and that was one of the few requested guests. Joker has been around damn near a century so its hard to put him in a decade, but Freddy, Jason, Leatherface, Alien, Predator, Terminator, RoboCop are all things Ive genuinely had to explain to 20 year olds. Im aware these films get new installments and remakes, but they arent blockbusters. We cant act like RoboCop is in because millions of casuals will buy the Aftermath Pack for a movie that wasnt even that good 35 years ago.
