Regular roundhouse can get poked out or even AA D+1d but the armor version is safe and will blow up any armor attack. Unless i have an armored move and i could possibly beat outs Rain EX Super Roundhouse. I think hes okay but IMO a bottom 10 character. I think Rain was always around 15-16 but since the patch and with the universal dash nerf i think he dropped down at least 5 spots. Same with Sub-Zero. That character got a lot of nerfs. He was a top 4 character when the game came out and after all his nerfs and the dash nerf etc hes around 20th imo.

I just do not agree with that. Rain has such good tools at his disposal. He has armor on nearly all of his EN moves (Maaaan, using that EXRH cancel to counter pressure and get 42% combo is a GDLK tool). With his RH cancel pressure he is one of the best character to build meter with. His damage potential is top tier (42% midscreen and 52% corner with no meter). Using the bubble as a reset guarantees pressure. His teleport may not be the best, but having it helps.

He's not the best, obviously, but saying he's not tourney viable is just silly. It seems like when CDjr "dropped" rain after the dash nerf people jumped on the "Rain is garbage now" bandwagon.

Again, I don't think that is true. If I let the RH rip (as opposed to canceling it) it SHOULD stuff almost all pokes.

I could be wrong, of course, but I have yet to see someone poke out of my RH

Remember: Just because a character is bottom 5, doesn't mean they can't win! In my opinion, every character is tournament viable.

The riveting argument and discussion of Jade's superior tools and mobility, along with the new tech I hadn't heard about moving her into the top 20s was great. Better yet, you even explained how Nightwolf's kombos actually drained life from him and not his opponent. You really have changed my opinion of this game. You won't soon be forgotten in the MK kommunity.

OMG Kabal is not No. 1 holy crap. He has the worst damage output and can be outzoned and moved in on easily. Also has hard time in pressure and his NDCs are getting dated and easily baited. And why is Kitana so low shes top 5 indefinitely.
