And it's just too big a business to risk losing the 1920s, i'm sure they still have their other problems. I have friends in medicine they still get their regular cases it's just everything now is cv mostly. I am curious though how many cases per year go in for alchohol poisoning. I mean al I'm saying is technically we sont need to drink but its whatever...I'll stick to my xanax when needed. Lol

And that's what I do, when did he say reuse masks though if I may? Not saying he didn't say it I just prefer links etc with things like that. I watched one the other day when he was taking serious questions and some dummy asked him "why is he hopeful" and another dummy asking him about some bs rumor of someone in the White House without proof mind you saying they called it the "king flu" disease, the msm wasting important chances with moronic questions also does not help. No matter who the president is.

He tends to let his cdc team speak everytime I watch him which I don't constantly watch the news because as you said people will mislead others cnn, MSNBC etc aren't much better they too have posted false things and hypercritical as well regarding the name.

That definition of the airborne I found on my own because there's been misinformation regarding that. He and Cuomo the nys governor who is mine since I live in nyc worked together to help and they're not exactly fans of one another hell our mayor and cuomo hate one another, other day the mayor said "stay in don't go anywhere unless ita vita food, medicine etc" then this clown goes to the gym...and made two his aids go with him. I trust wherever you are your local elected officials are smarter than mine.

I get there's fault but there's pointing out stuff like you just did and then there's the garbage on this thread.

Nobody could have stopped this aside from China. All we could really do is prepare for the inevitable.

All I'm saying
100% correct sir. The one doctor over there who tried to blow the whistle ended up being jailed for it. Already had contracted covid-19 from the patients he'd treated. Died shortly after. Only 34, not old by any means.

Appreciate it, speaking of misinformation a very respected dr. Dr Mike here in nyc makes good vids he too has called out the msm which is what I'm always saying on here that seems to get taken the wrong way so I figured I'll post what I mean. You'll notice he calls out the msm and all happen to be liberally biased outlets....I'm just saying. So while umyes trump has made blunders at least he doesn't go around saying "everyone should just get it lol"

The only thing i disagree with is at the end, where he promotes the WHO who is under lots of scrutiny and owned by the Chinese so i don't consider them a good source for obvious reasons.

The rest of this video however is 100% dead on accurate regarding his points.

Yeah Dr Mike has been doing a good job covering all of this.

Having to work in these times is wild. The traffic in my area normally is absolutely dreadful. But right now, it’s severely reduced. It feels like I’m working at 4 am on the weekends or something with how little people are out on the roads compared to how it usually is. I’m lucky enough to still be able to work, for now at least (knock on wood). And with my job I’m able to avoid close contact people for the most part.

trusting youtuber stars over health officials and media outlets... seriously. Just close this thread now. Some of the people in this thread are just hopeless.

In really happy to still be able to work, the restaurant I work at is in a mall so we made an area to pick up the food with chalk in the mall parking lot and have people flipping signs by the street, seems to be working haha

Yeah. I think some people are missing the point.. The goal isn't just to scare people, but it's to get everyone to take this seriously and hopefully save lives (either their lives, their loved ones' lives, or lives of other people they might unknowingly infect).

And unfortunately, we've seen numerous examples of people not taking things seriously at all until they're scared. Not only has that been evident with environmental protection and climate change, or healthy eating habits, or guns, hurricane preparation, or any of the other things that threaten our livelihood over time.. It's also plainly evident in places like the US, UK, and even Italy this week, as there are groups of people hanging out on the beach, at bars, and in public places like nothing is going on.

So if you already get it, and you're taking it seriously, good for you. But the media is trying to wake up the thousands of other people who don't seem to have gotten the message yet and think this is not a big deal. People staying nonchalant will ultimately result in an additional hundreds of thousands to millions being infected. And many dying as a result.

@Tony at Home I hope your sister recovers without issue man.

Several provinces in Canada, including my own province of Ontario, is locking down. All non-essential business are to be closed by 11:59 pm, though I'm not sure yet if it's tomorrow evening or at week's end. At this time, once this takes effect, they're to be closed for fourteen days.

Most of my company is already working from home, and we're getting the last few set up.

Two things with the virus as well that I'm unclear on, as I've seen mixed on this and have not found actual, official info:

  • If you do contract the virus, what's the average recovery time pending complications?
  • If you recover from the virus, do you build up immunity to it like you do with the current strain of the flu?

Total number of cases has more than doubled since I last checked just the other day (Saturday or Sunday can’t remember when, I posted it in here so whenever that was).

The rate this is going is not good. Even if most people are social distancing and/or self quarantining, the 2 week incubation period is seriously terrible. It would be so much easier to deal with if it was only a 24 hr incubation period like in the movie Outbreak, lol.

Juggs are you saying that 2 weeks is too long for people to self-isolate, and after like only a few days they go out? Or am I misinterpreting you here?

No. I’m saying if people aren’t forced to self quarantine even if they aren’t sick or showing symptoms, they likely will go out within those 2 weeks and potentially infect other people without knowing it. Which creates a domino effect where that very same thing keeps happening. This is why I believe this won’t be ending anytime soon. In order for that to happen, such a huge % would have to choose to self quarantine if their country or state isn’t forcing them to. And, not only that, but if your job doesn’t allow you to work from home, a lot of people are forced to go into work. And those people could easily have the virus and not be aware they have it due to the 2 week incubation period.

The scariest part for me is when I clock out and exit the building. The streets are silent. No car noise. No bustle. Just wind.
