Possible Character leak. SPOILERS

Plus looking at the last image again, it looks like they photoshopped Jade's hair (from her Klassic skin) onto her.

Another thing that bothered me about the select screen picture that I didn't mention (Full Disclosure, I am NOT an expert when it comes to MK lore and/or backstories, so this may be of no consequence and why I didn't mention it):

Shouldn't Mileena be a revenant on the select screen?

IIRC, all of the "dead" characters in the story are revenants on the select screen and have revenant skins as their "primary" skin. Again, NOT an expert on the subject, just seems out of place that she's on the select screen in human form, but that could just be me, too.

It certainly seems plausible with having Spawn's portrait visible in that CSS screenshot, but otherwise all of these are too Sasquatch for me to feel it's super convincing other than the part where every other leak similar to this has come true.

Then again, the Mileena portrait looks terrible.

She is not in the roster.

This may be a legit old concept. We have been told numerous times that she was considered to be in it. Remember the vid where the guy leaked the whole roster including Cetrion and the Kollector (and said how dumb his name was an thought it was a placeholder). He said that NRS had a handful of chracters they were telling their employees that they were in the final roster - Mileena was one of them.

Otherwise, perhaps they may have just made a Mileena Skin / mask for Kitana like they did in IJ2.

All of the poses are also reused from Mileena and Sindel, and NRS wouldn't reuse important animations like that. Yeah, it could be a temp animation, but I think if her animations were unfinished they just wouldn't be present and she would be doing a T-pose or something, not using Kitana's rig or whatever.

Not to mention the currently leaks and rumors (which are now apparently being backed up by some members of the community?) say that Sheeva, Fujin, and Ash Williams are the next characters and that Cyrax and Sektor have a slight chance of being upgraded to playable. Nothing about Mileena other than she was scrapped during development.

Remember when Kotal Kahn was using Liu Kang’s stance in the leak? And Frost was bald?

That said... Still not buying this leak, solely due to the MK Warehouse blue background on the skins. If they had left that one out, it would’ve been almost believable.

In MKX, the Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Kitana, and a few other communities would get clowned on for downplaying but Mileena players legitimately tried to pass off Piercing as being okay and requiring a lot of thought to use properly. Akromaniac made such a pretentious and horrific thread that I for once in my life felt sorry for Tom Brady, Mileena getting ANY less hate than Alien and Demo is the best con in history.

They're revenants because Quan Chi revived them as revenants. Nobody revived Mileena (as far as we saw) If they were gonna explain Mileena returning it would probably be a clone

She's alive in the old timeline. She could return same way as Baraka and Shao. No need for reverant or clone explenations.

That wasn't kotal. It was liu kang in his osh tekk disguise but it looks different. Frost being bald was probably not finished or a scrapped skin

It looks like Kitana's default customization menu pose, with the fan in her left hand photoshopped out to look like a sai.

I tried to see if it looked like Kitana's 'Mileena Teeth' mask, just photoshopped but it's hard to tell.

That's definitely Jade's + Skarlet's klassic hair. (They both have the same hair with this skin. Kitana's is the only one who has a different klassic hairstyle.)

The 'Flesh Pit' skin definitely looks iffy. I just don't see them adding that skin especially since DLC characters only get 4. Are we really betting they'd waste one of those skins on that? Nahhh

And the only thing that makes me think the menu screen looks legit is the fact that Spawn's on there too. But, we don't see the rest of the screen so even that's iffy as hell. Where's Fujin, Sheeva, Ash, etc?

All signs point to fake. I'm still gonna get my hopes up for her tho The clown in me can't help it.

There is one actually, as far as MK DLC goes, the closest they were to putting a previously Base Roster character as DLC in the next game was Triborg and that's a pretty gray area and it remains one if Sektor+Cyrax are eventual DLC in MK11. It all depends on if you see Triborg as a true representation of Cyrax, Sektor or view him as a gimmick.

Yeah Mileena is popular and a lot of people want her in (and they're right to, let's not pretend Mileena isn't a fan favorite after MK9) but NRS has certain norms about roster choices and what's DLC or not.

She'd work in this game too but personally I don't want a Mileena that isn't using her edenian sex appeal combined with her feral tarkatan bloodlust and I DO NOT WANT THAT LIP DESIGN BACK. I hate the lips, full teeth or nothing.

If that was true, all fan favorites would be in MKX. They weren't.

While everything's possible, it's also pretty possible that Rain, Smoke, Mileena and other non-MK11 characters are saved for MK12 to make their fans pre-order in a split of a second.
