Can We Do Something To Let NRS Know That We Want Revenant ON/OFF Toggle?

This is starting to bother me so much, and especially after Sindel release.

I simply can't understand why are they locking half of the costumes behind revenant forms. We should be able to switch from revenant to human no matter the skin.

Very, very small number of players care about revenant forms of their favorite characters. I literally never see them online. In general ppl don't like them. Why is NRS forcing them so much? Why are there so many zombies i. A MK game? Why are beautiful designs locked behind zombie forms?

Sindel has 2 very, very beautiful designs that are locked behind revenant form, so for me and many others it's like they are not even in the game. I want to use Sindel's default costume with human form, and this shouldn't be an issue at all. NRS can add this option, actually we should have had this since day one for characters like Jade, Kitana etc... Is it too much to ask?

They literally had them as rewards in one of the seasons so far. And it was one of the skins with only one extra recolor. It's really is tragic that these are KL eXcluSivE skins. But seeing 7th season skins being... zombie Johhny, Sonya, Cassie and Jax nothing can surprise me really.

I was thinking the same thing with sindel. I use her revenant skin because I like the costume. Same with nightwolf. The option to turn off revenant with any skin would be cool. I’d also like to choose a skin and then a color. It’s not a huge deal but it would be big improvement imo.

I actually really like the revenants. I thought they were great twists on characters who've been pretty similar for a long while.

And there's nothing wrong with that. I just prefer them to be alternate skins than their main ones.

There's no harm in getting greater customization options. I see no reason to oppose it. I'd love the red revenant skin in human form for Jade or the ones without the hood too.

the revenant shit was alright in mkx but now it's become pretty shallow in mk11 to the point where it messes with intros or even ruins skins.

It makes me so mad.. like why can I only have one costume online? That doesn’t even make sense. What was the point of including all these costumes if I can’t use multiple load outs

It's not so much that it messes with intros, it's that they didn't create intros based on the skin-type used. Unless I'm mistaken, there's no Revenant intros at all. Is there not no "old" Johnny intros either, though?

It seems to me in the game, for intros, NetherRealm Studios chose a "default" version of each character (usually the past version), and only did intros for those.

You can't toggle them because then they couldn't lock them behind Kombat League ranks and super not fun towers that reverse your controls or make the screen totally black.

I think Sindel looks much better in revenant form. The red eyes look great in close up shots, and she doesn't have the goofy makeup

I'm surprised no one mentioned it's that way bc they are following the story. Nightwolf, Sindel, and Jade were all killed in 9 and became revenants. Makes sense to me.

Let me explain.

Making characters look horrible is a practice used in many games where skins are sold or are a matter of grinding / crafting them.
MK11 is fairly tame in this regard because the Tutorial Mode of every character offers you a pretty good looking skin all things considered.
So basically they do this so that you buy crystals and get skins.
