What's new

If balance, mechanics, and depth are your priorities, why do you play MK?

And you don't want it catered to you? Is that not exactly what you're saying when you say X should be in and Y should be out? Only you can have desires for characters being in and opinions on who should sit out just because your desired character list includes all the older characters? Drop this shitty tactic of the nostalgia pandering high ground. Not every game is going to be MK9 + some other characters.

I definitely feel for them as I have characters I'd love to see, but I also fully understand that I'm not the one making the game so I won't get everything I want. Instead, I'll enjoy what I've got and MK11 has given me a lot more than MK9 and MKX ever did.

As for the borgs and ninjas, that is exactly what I want. We had Triborg last game via DLC and both borgs + human smoke in base MK9. They can sit ONE game out. We also had Reptile & Ermac in the last 2 games. They can sit one out too. Rotate some of the non-core ninjas in and out between games such as they've done now.

You're welcome to have these opinions.

Only one variation of hers plays anything akin to Cyber-Sub. The others are completely their own thing.
I don't want it catered to me. I know people who love these characters who can't believe they would take them out because they are mainstays or practically the all stars. They could've made room for the characters you'd think would absolutely be in while still adding in original characters. I'm fine with what it is because hopefully every game SHOULD have scorpion but I also can't understand why they insist on deleting borgs or even popular or very well known characters.

I only really play for the single player these days....so just the gloss, the characters, unlock stuff, etc.

I'll do some online stuff if I have to in order to unlock some content...but otherwise I have little interest. It's just not interesting doing "fighting" where almost nothing is punishable on block and things hinge on whether I got overwhelming offense going on. Or trying to get used to constant wonky hit or hurt boxes.

Same here, I'm taking this season of KL off due to all the bs and playing the ToT and KOTH lately. Once I unlock all of Raiden's outfits I pretty much have everything for him, I'll play less til Fujin comes out which will be God knows when lol.

Very simple
  1. No damn thumb blisters from trying to do u,b,fu,bu+4 for a mediocre uppercut.
  2. The brutality. (these street fights require some roster fillings after 2 games)
  3. History (MK1 at the arcades = ❤).
  4. I didn't need a 4th reason.

If mk is so bad explain why are all these japanese fighting games copying it? Dead ass prove me wrong.
