Paid Trip To FInal Round Tourney xbox/ps3

I have a feeling that this is going to backfire .... great idea... but have you met people lately?
I almost can say with 100% certainty that the winner will be an offline player who dabbles online. So.... how is that sending an online person to the tourney? I love this game just like everyone else, but I feel like this is a loaded deck.

Even if you don't think you're going to win its still important for people to sign up and support the community with awesome ideas like this. I will be signing up regardless of how free I am because I want to see some of these players make it out to Final Round. I'd like any pool that starts at or after 6pm PST. Good luck to everyone and thanks pig dink menace ashenar and everyone involved!

Just playing devils advocate is all. I plan on chipping in as well. Who knows... maybe i'll level up a bit. I still love the idea, don't get me wrong at all. :) See you guys there.

A few questions:

1. Any kinda button check required or allowed to test out lag or swapped inputs?

2. Since it doubtful I'll be able to go out of state often from work when I start working soon, I'm curious: if I won the pot for one or both systems, could I receive a portion of the money to attend a more local major and allow you to donate the rest to whoever you choose?

Either way: this should be a good way to get my name out there :D

We can't do anything about lag by now I hope most have a good feel in how to play in lag, I hate it but one of the purposes of the tourne is to give online players a chance to win in their environment to be allowed financially to attend an offline majOr

If u cannot attend FR and u win this then u must choose who I give money to and whatever u two decide is up to about if u get any - winner must attend FR and I will see sure that he or she does or misses his paidflight or paid car rental

yea but my mom will be gay about it and not let me play. u dont kno my mom lol. i also tell her that ill do good in tournys and she completely doubts me.

If your mom won't let u play a video game for 2 hours on a non school day in hopes to win $200-300.00 what makes u think she will let u travel 9 states away for 3 days to compete offline in real life????

I would enter this, but it'd cost me at least $600 for a round trip to Atlanta, and that's being generous.

At best, I could try to fly to one of the states and hitch a ride with someone.

my mom is mad strict! she bitches for no reason and gets mad for the dumbest things. i wish i could live with my dad. but like i said im about to start working i think by next tuesday. im paying for evo she isnt. basically everything i work for up to evo is all gonna be spent on that one event =/. and also sunday around 6:30 i have an indoor soccer game which might end around 8 o clock and by time i get home its gonna be 8:30-8:45 depending on weather.

Hmm u have this soccer game every Sunday of the year? How's 9:00pm Sunday For u for finals?

I feel I shouldn't have to say this but I'm bending my back everywhere to try to help u

not every sunday its just my mom wont let me on later and if finals were short that sunday then i would be able to make it. how long will finals have to be?
