Everyone makes these so here is a new take on a "Tear list" for mk11. This time about how much nrs loves or hates a character and whether it is "allowed" to be a different tier than it already is. Channel your inner TYM and blow this thread up. GO.

Tier lists are so subjective that i never gave a fuck about what they said. But this one is someone entertaining and accurate in a senese that they lump good characters and bad characters. I think the player should be looked at and not the character...thats why i beat yall ass (especially the top tier characters) with kano

I think liu kang is a piece of shit...and that he is overpowered...but in no way would i say he is a top tier character. I win more than i lose and only his real dickriders can beat me

Before I clicked on this thread, I assumed Jade would be at the very bottom, regardless of what the list was about, and I was not disappointed.

I’ve aleays felt that a character-style tier list exists within NRS.

S - Rush down (Cage/Briggs/etc)
A - Defensive (Aquaman/Cetrion)
A - Zoners/Ranged-Attack (Skarlet/Robin)
B - Grapplers (Ferra Torr/Bane)
C - Bigs (Shao, Goro)
F - Gadget (Joker, Cyrax, Cyborg, CC)

Each archetype is an entirely different experience to play, each their own game you could say. It’s a shame that lower tiers are only great in matchup specific cases. D’vorah, a gadget character, now being really good is very encouraging. If Shao Kahn ever gets that cancellable f3,4 then it’ll be another major step in the right direction.

I'll never downplay him like some do, but Johnny isn't that good. I think people are losing perspective on the the things people are bitching about. Just saying Johnny is bad is silly, stupid, and oversimplifies the issue. Comments like yours just add gas to the flames.

Did you see what adjustments were made to Cage in the patch? Being put in the neglected tier kinda makes sense.
