I'm not trying to talk about a game from 2015, I thought it was assumed we're talking about MK11. To your point, I did think INJ2 MB roll was a mediocre mechanic. It's not hyper negativity. Maybe play those games and you'll see why each of them is badly implemented. Unless you weren't around for MKX, where it took them until the near end of the game to fix run as a low risk mechanic.
Or GG, where instant blocking allows for a ton of different design choices and adds a shitton more options if you're good at it, in comparison to NRS using it as a replacement for armour.
So.... one practice mode feature. IIRC, that feature isn't in BBTag, DBFZ, SCVI or Tekken 7 either. Still, I would like them to have it. I don't know how they program it but it seems reliant on 3D models, at least for the hurtboxes, maybe that doesn't lend itself well to hitbox viewers. But on the subject of SF, I'm glad they turned SFV into a game worth retail price, even if it took them a couple years.Does this mean you actually haven't played another fighting game as well?
Just go into SF. turn on the hitboxes.
This alone is enough.
NRS does a great job of fan service and a bad job of having mechanically working games.
Why do you think since MK9 (first year with this engine) that they refuse to show us the hit/hurt boxes in the game?
Instead we get The Joker in an MK game.
NRS has probalby the 2nd best Netcode for a FG. They are still SO FAR behind Killer Instinct in that regard.
It's in DBFZ, don't play the others so unsure.I'm not trying to talk about a game from 2015, I thought it was assumed we're talking about MK11. To your point, I did think INJ2 MB roll was a mediocre mechanic.
That latter sentence is the hyper negativity I'm talking about. Flawless Blocking is a great mechanic that adds depth to this game. That GG has a mechanic like that and maybe even inspiring the FB mechanic doesn't make FB a bad mechanic. Belittling it as "as replacement for armour" is lazy and hyper negative. Calling a mechanic half assed because it's inspired from another game's mechanic is hyper negative.
Turn it down a little bit will ya

BUT THEY AREN'T ANY MORE. What happened? These are the BEST MECHANICS. The new ones are half-assed imitations. Why aren't they at EVO?You're legit clueless. Tons of people having been playing GG for decades, Japan even more so. Same with KOF, except replace Japan with China.
Show me the stream. I'll wait. Did it happen in the last month? The last year? Did more than 20 people show up? Tekken 7 and SF5 are both about to hit 4 years old, they had thousands of entrants at EVO. Where aren't KoF13 and Xrd, they're better, right?Maybe you should check literally any major tournament, you're so out of touch it's not even amusing anymore. And popularity doesn't make those mechanics any less half assed btw. "Hey, where's that 5 year old game's entrants now compared to the new blockbuster release from 3 months ago?". Where's MK9/X/IGAU1/2 now? Right.
You. . . don't think people play new games cause they're better? Why do they then? Why are thousands of people watching and playing these inferior games when their ps2s and emulators should work now better than ever? You legitimately have to either be trolling or embarassingly free of awareness to say that the games people play now are because they're better.
Amen to that. It's hard to find a community that hates NRS games more than the NRS community itself does.
This is how it is for literally every community, you're mistaking "hate" for passion and a desire for the game to be a certain way, they wouldn't have bothered if they genuinely didn't care for the game. It's hard to find a community that hates NRS games more than the NRS community itself does.
it isn't a practcie mode feature. IT is LITERALLY showing us how and where and why things land and why they don't.I'm not trying to talk about a game from 2015, I thought it was assumed we're talking about MK11. To your point, I did think INJ2 MB roll was a mediocre mechanic.

well maybe not the onlline lobby parts and tutorial parts.I like how every point on that thumbnail is something MK11 is best in industry at : )
Too bad I can't decline a fucking Wifi player because there's no filter option. The only major issue with NRS is the hiboxes. If youre still crying about netcode i will say this for the 1000th time: THEY FIXED THE NET CODE IN MKX, STOP PLAYING ON WIFI OR AGAINST WIFI AND OR ACCEPT IT. I accepted it.
the only game i can think of that does that is unist. maybe guilty gearCrimson clearly hasn't played other fighting games that are basically light years ahead of MK in every single thing MK does except its netcode.
so you're just gonna ignore t5 t6 and ttt2You're legit clueless. Tons of people having been playing GG for decades, Japan even more so. Same with KOF, except replace Japan with China.

You legitimately have to either be trolling or embarassingly free of awareness to say that the games people play now are because they're better. Tekken, where 7 is the first actually good game in the series since TTT1, SFV being SFV, DBFZ being dropped faster than a methed out hooker, one smash game that had half of their community outraged for being at EVO over the other, etc.
Definitely not the Smash community. This is how it is for literally every community
But KI is dead and MK11 isn’t so yes MK11 does have the best.Does this mean you actually haven't played another fighting game as well?
Just go into SF. turn on the hitboxes.

There's a reason most tekken players hate those games and everyone says it took them till T7 to make it right.so you're just gonna ignore t5 t6 and ttt2
Very little passion here. Just morons with Twitter fingers. This is how it is for literally every community, you're mistaking "hate" for passion and a desire for the game to be a certain way, they wouldn't have bothered if they genuinely didn't care for the game.
Why would an SF player care if this game has shoddy hitboxes?
