Am actually hype for Joker the most and can't wait to see how psychotic and gory he's going to be , He is a perfect fit for MK universe..

That being said, Guest characters have always been controversial and they do take slots away from MK returning characters. If the community is unanimous about not wanting them anymore we can all just vote with our wallets.

I’m more concerned with the pace of release rather than the content.

When NRS said they’d support the game for longer, I expected consistent content on the level of MKX/ I2 over a longer period of time... Not a typical years worth of content stretched over multiple years. It feels dishonest. Why not just say “we’re taking it a bit slower to give our guys a break”? We’d understand that. But don’t phrase it as if we’re getting more, because we’re not.

Having said that, I think the Joker is a good addition. I don’t feel as strongly about Sheeva or Fujin, and I’d trade all of them for Triborg.

No, you're not the only person. This argument has been being made since the reveal of Jason in MKX many years ago and the argument STILL does not hold water. You're speaking entirely out of your own individual bias in what characters you like. NRS, however, has an entire game to design which includes a roster that fits the overall narrative of the story mode. Meanwhile, the DLC characters are designed around what will bring the most revenue and continued playerbase. As has been said by Boon many a time, guests bring in the most revenue by far as they attract non-MK fans to the series.

This is my line of thinking as well. My guess is all the dlc is done for mk11 while NRS just sit and wait for the go ahead from WBs to release it meanwhile the bulk of the NRS crew have moved on to injustice 3.

That is a toxic way of going about it. Some of y'all are so obsessed with this community shit that you'd basically do anything to get people to join. You already have a big enough player base and the best selling fighting game. Why would you go this way of doing it

These anti-guest-dlc threads gotta stop. Nrs gave us a full mk game with a full story, modes, original charaters etc. Whatever they do after charging for aditional content, that you DON'T have to buy, is their business. Guests lure in new people, who may not be fans of the franchise. Also, there's also potential for kp2, so chill.
