Shang and Scorpion bottom 6.
Skarlet and Nightwolf S tier.
ect.

BUT it's important to note that the lowest Sonic has ranked any character at the moment is B tier. Every character is fully viable, unlike some NRS games of the past.

I'm not so sure. This statement is made in every single NRS game, but the one or more extra patches that come have never made them truly balanced.

It's important to note that Sonicfox made a comment on his stream as to why he placed Sub Zero higher on this list compared to his last, and it's exactly that reason why his opinions should be taken with a grain of salt.

Liu Kang (LQ) was not changed much and even had a nerf, so I do not see how he moved to number 1 with the patch from Sonic's previous Tier list.
Wu Shi legend is not number 1.

He is definitely number 1 and i said this long time ago. He was super imba before the patch, now he is the current number 1 without a doubt.
Scar, Magician and other pro thinks he is really broken at the moment.

I have to agree with @lordlosh .

Out of all the surprising things on Sonic's tier list, Liu being #1 is definitely not one of them. He has everything and doesn't really struggle against anybody.

Sonic Fox its a brilliant strategist he plays mind games in and out of the game, this will generate a lot of buzz among the NRS communities, all other top players are unsure if its a trap or what's the trap, NRS devs are unsure if its a trap and what's the trap. Considering he has been pulling this since Injustice 2, i still wonder to this very day, how will other handle this lol.

During his twitch stream where he explains the tier list, he says he's maining Buzzed D'Vorah now lol.

I don't see him exclusively using her tbh, but he'll definitely bring her out now.

His original tier list was kind of .... not good. I think this one is also that at a glance.

Liu and Jax have two potentially bad matchups in their own tier (Skarlet, Cetrion). I had Sonya as a bad matchup for Liu as well last version, has it really changed that much? If Nightwolf is that high why is Baraka so low?

Majority of characters haven't moved there place tier wise.
Idk why he has skarlet on top and scorpion and shang at the bottom. It is his biased tier list so he could have liu kang at the very bottom.

Didn't Sonic have Shao Kahn in A tier last time? I suppose the changes to other characters could potentially drop his placement, but I find this odd as well, as Shao is definitely improved in this patch.

Also, did he explain why he has Skarlet in top tier now?

You have to understand pro level looks at all different thing, we don`t even consider as anything.

I feel that, for as incredibly talented as Sonic is, his tier lists are always a bit odd. However, I do agree with there being no more C or D tier characters. Everyone seems very viable currently.
