5. Smoke: Finger Poke Of Doom - The first Fatality in the game I tested in the Theatre. Daaaaamn.

4. Sheeva: The Round Of Applause - Nothing says "You just died" like being clapped out of a match with your own dismembered arms.

3. Sektor: The Scarecrow - I didn't think they could give Ketchup a more unnerving finish than his MK3 Compactor Fatality. I was wrong.

2. Johnny Cage: The Oscar - You mean to tell me this arrogant prick was fighting an entire fight to the death with an awards trophy tucked in his back pocket?

1. Quan Chi: The Beating - Possibly the most vicious and fun to watch/administer finish in MK since Darrius's Mix N' Match from Deception.

I miss his MK3 Fatality.

What better way to troll someone than literally scaring the life out of them.

1. Skarlett- "Blood Bath"- My personal favorite
2. Baraka- "Take a spin"- Most creative fatality
3. Noob Saibot- "Make a wish"- AKA the "oh shit fatality". Thats what everybody that saw this fatality for the first time said
4. Kabal- "It takes guts"- most creative fatality IMO
5. Kung lao- "Razor edge"- By far the goriest most iconic fatality in the game

Honorable mention- Both of Shao Khans fatalities

#3 Ermac: steps on the mini-opponent
#4 Noob Saibot: closing portal that cuts you in half
#5 Kenshi: tele-throw into the sword

1. Shang Tsung Fatality 2: The one where he jumps as a soul into your mouth and controls you and causes you to rip your head off.
2. Kabal Fatality 1: The one where he kicks you high up and decapitates you with his hookswords, halving your body in the process.
3. Sektor Fatality 2: The scarecrow one that explodes on the opponent, separating his limbs on different spikes.
4. Kenshi Fatality 1: The one where he smashes your face against the screen repeatedly then slices you into pieces with his sword.
5. Kenshi Fatality 2: The one where he grabs you, plants his sword on the floor vertically and throws you head first into the blade, slicing you in half.

"Guts" and "Nether-Gate" definitely get Honorable Mentions...even though Scorpion stole that from Olympus.

Also: Cyrax's Buzz Saw Finish. My favorite to use in battle .

5. Sindel - Scream and your head explodes. This one reminds me of real life because most women are actually capable of doing this when they talk.

4. Kenshi - tele throw into Katana. Because I now see how easy it can be to accidentally cut someone in half with a mache........errr Katana.

3. Kung Lao - Razor hat on the ground fatality. This reminds me of a table saw accident I had as a kid.

2. Quan Chi - Leg beatdown. He will never stop, he will just keep beating you with your own leg. Somewhere Quan is beating someone with their own leg right now.

1. SubZero - Spinal cord and head rip. The original, and still the best. This is the one that made Tipper Gore and that Gynocerous brigade known as the PMRC wet their granny panties and scream for censorship. Suck it Tipper.

1. Razors Edge, Kung Lao's second fatality. Not only is it awesomely gory, but Kung Lao's face is so... bored during the whole thing it makes me laugh.
2. Sub-Zero's second fatality. Baseball + spinal cords = awesomeness.
3. Scorpion's second fatality. Stabs you, kicks you, tears the skin off your bones and hangs you. Awesome.
4. CSZ second fatality. Rigor mortis has never been so hilarious.
5. Hell Stage fatality. There's something about lava pouring out of your eye sockets that makes me shiver.

Honorable Mentions: Kintaro's X-Ray. Comon. Thats a fatality and you know it.

Strykers X-ray is almost worthy of being a Fatality and probably one of my favourites out of all the Xrays and Finishers.
