No one's talking about the SKIN/GEAR update in patch!

1. Random piece of Skin/Gear is now obtainable by completing the last tower on a platform with your character; and
2. Skin/Gear requirements in the Kustomize screen is now more detailed.

Can anyone on PS4 or Xbox confirm this? Does it now say where to get these skins that are only obtainable in the "Krypt" but no one can find? (Liu Kang's Young Justice, Raiden's Mythologies, etc)

Alternatively, were you able to obtain any of the above through Random prize in Towers?

No. What they said was, once you finish the last tower of a platform in Towers of Time, you can get one of the following:

1. Skin + Augment
2. Gear + Augment
3. Augment only

The descriptions now say exactly where to look for skins or gear in the Krypt (i.e. "found in Naknadan Krypt Shrine)

This is something I didn't quite understand.

What exactly does that mean? 'Found in Naknadan Krypt Shrine'? I mean, if I unlock all chests in that area and haven't found it, and broke all soul 'chests' open in that area and haven't found it, do I have to rewind and re-lock those chests and unlock them again, possibly improving my chances to find that gear this time?

Because I'm fairly certain I've unlocked almost every chest twice and there are still krypt items I do not possess.

I think this is an awesome change, I finally have an incentive to play the ToT now. I really want Cassie's brown jacket and yellow skin and her stars and stripes sunglasses that are supposed to be in the ToT but I haven't found them yet.

I didn't check the requirements tho for all the gear. Maybe they added things like 'in heart chest', 'in fire chest', etc.,

these are not in the game yet ..... hackers had already datamined the game base, and discovered that some skins and gears, are not obtainable yet, no matter what ....

these 3 were on the list of "impossible to get" skins, so, only when NRS update the game and allow these to be picked up
