I'd make Scorp, Geras, Erron Black balanced where anyone can actually beat them. I'd get rid of Scorp's lame teleport gimmicks and make them a high, period and I'd ditch his cancel he doesn't need it. Everyone else in the game you teleport you commit to it you either get punished or not, there is no cancel bs so he'd be treated as such. Also reduce his damage output.
Geras damage, his loops and dumb + pokes would be gone. His pillar spike would be gone, his sand sink would be much slower and actually have longer recovery.
Erron Black, holy shit where do I start? For one I'd make his drop kick UNSAFE not sometimes safe, sometimes not safe just flat out unsafe on block. His rifle shots would actually stick to one direction once you commit, that's where he shoots none of this lame tracking if someone teleports behind him bs, His B222 string would be unsafe on block and slower. U3 wake ups would actually work against him. HIs FB would be slowed down and have longer recovery. His cancel would be gone, again doesn't need it. His stupid projectile parry would be changed so that it's like everyone else's where you time it properly or you don't, none of this "I'm going to hold it here so you can't zone me or hit me with a projectile til the end of the match" bs. Seriously, this has to be the dumbest idea whoever programmed E. Black must have been on drugs making this move. The fact that he can literally parry multiple projectiles at once ie Jade's amp glaive tosses or Liu's amped fireballs is beyond stupid.
Jax's dash and punch string would be slowed down, his pokes slowed down and counterable.
Jacqui's strings would be slowed down so she can't frame trap you constantly, her dash punch slowed down and unsafe on block.
Liu Kang's F4 and F3 would be punishable on block, he's literally so stupid right now even a casual player can win using that shit. And I'm a LK player as a secondary so yeah, even I find it dumb.
Kabal's strings at least half of them would be unsafe, not sure why this guy gets special treatment with no FB gaps or unsafe strings but that would change. Also, no dash cancels, so tired of the cancels in MK.
Cassie would not have low and high pew, pews. She'd have one or the other per variation like Liu Kang, Kabal, Kitana etc and her 50/50 ball kick move would be gone.
I'd literally remove all staggers in this game, NRS says they want a game not aimed on 50/50's funny that's what staggers lead to.
Throws would be fixed bigtime, I have no issue with the damage % though I'd be fine with 12% from 14-15% now. However, I'd make them like MK 9 where if you duck a throw you should be able to punish via pokes and low kick moves. The fact that you have to NOT attack right away or get thrown while you hit D1, D2, D3 or D4 and get auto thrown is just dumb.
I'd get rid of Raiden's Superman cancel as it's way too predictable and slow to be useful and just replace it with his MK 9 Superman where it's actually a viable punisher on whiffed moves or moves with longer recovery. The way it is now it's only good for combo enders. His teleport would also be much faster where it's actually good up close and not just mid to far screen. He's have at least a few more safe strings.
I'd get rid of breakaways all together and bring back breakers, breakers were better and gave you space unlike BA's.
Wake ups would work like MK 9 where you have to respect them, MK 11 it's pathetically easy to lock someone in the corner.
Rolls would have armor and go further similar to Injustice 2 range, however you can't be thrown out of them but if attacked you take chip/dot damage but still armor as it would guarantee you corner escape or after a knock down rolling past or back from your opponent.
I'd make 50/50's VERY limited, never been too big on them but shit older MK's never had them the only low was a sweep. I'd be fine with that and maybe a few other low attacks but the whole high low, high, low or low, low, high, mid, high mid, low crap has to go. It's just too gimmicky and not everyone's strings are even the same speed as some have huge disadvantage compared to others with a big advantage on block.
Obviously any infinites, loops would be patched, gone.
I'd get rid of KB's, it's an interesting concept but again not fair for everyone because some characters have insane requirements for half of theirs that will never happen in a legit match where others like Scorp, Geras have a dumb amount that can landed in one combo. Screw that.
FB's or X Rays, whatever Super move you want. I'd keep but I would possibly change this to one per ROUND, not just one per match. Not infinite potentially with refill meter on a long match or round like MK 9 or MK X but just one per ROUND guaranteed, not more, no less.
Would nerf LK's first variation with a few things, punishable low fireball on block, no cancel moves and as mentioned no staggers or stupid safe F4, F3 bs. In return I'd increase damage of his combos by a little bit, and his flying kick would be easier to punish than it is now.
Scorpion already went over the hellport earlier, he wouldn't have a cancel at all, would be duckable and punishable a la KL's, Raiden's, Skarlet's etc, etc, damage % reduced, KB's reduced, 50/50's reduced, his spear on miss recovery increased like MK9 or earlier games, speed of it would also come out a little slower. His Yo-Yo variation would not be safe on block when he does spinny move that takes 10 years to finish, his 3 wouldn't be a stagger anymore.
Sonya's damage % would be reduced, her ring toss would have longer cool down between projectiles. I'd change her air ring toss from being straight to diagonal all the time in the air instead of holding D+RT they're not going to be jumping and grounded at the same time so it's a waste of a projectile. I'd replace the MK 2 Scorp leg take down with her air dash punch, and AA bicycle kick or her cartwheel but one one of them.
KL's dive kick would be a bit slower, his Z hat would not jail you but act like a regular projectile. Would consider getting rid of his unblockable teleport throw or at least making it blockable. Would get damage % reduction. Balanced so that you can't just yolo and win with him with random shit.
Sub-Zero's slide would be slightly slower on start up, his KB kick string would be punishable on block. His second variation I'd get rid of his cold shoulder and slide and replace it with the clone for a more defensive style. His freeze blast from a far would have slightly more recovery similar to the older games, much like Scorp's spear toss. So if I am a character with a teleport I should be able to punish him if he tosses the ice and I read it right, he shouldn't recover fast enough to punish me when I'm punishing him lol.
Baraka's damage would be heavily reduced, he's got stupid easy damage right now. Would also make more of his strings unsafe on block.
Kano's cannon balls all of them would be equally punishable, including his air ones. Start up on his kicks would be reduced, his poke would be slower, balanced so that you can't just throw random shit and get away with it.
Jade I wouldn't touch except for her % damage output would be increased a little, she's not a combo heavy character so I don't think this is a big deal. Perhaps tweak her D2 so it's a little slower.
Skarlet, would make her strings faster and safer but her staggers would be gone, may increase her damage % output by a little.
Kollector would get rid of his staggers, resets etc but increase the damage of his combos, make him a tad faster with his strings. Would make him better but not broken.
Frost same as Kollector, would make her competitive but not busted or anything buff her damage a little.
Shang would fix and slow down his body drop so the hit box isn't wacky, would slow it down and take away his low amp. Make it like sonya's turret drop being a high all the time, His ground fireballs would not be close AA's but only mid and far, his D3 would be nerfed bigtime and his overhead strings would be slowed down as well.
Cetrion would have slowed down Quake start up, either slowed down frame start up on her boulders or like other characters have her have one high for one variation and one low for the other. Would get rid of her teleport, she's a zoner she doesn't need a teleport....
Kotal Kahn would have no unblockables but higher damage combos % and faster recovery on sword moves, better strings.
Shao Kahn would get damage reduced a little bit, faster strings but not safer, his spear throw would not stun you for a half a second, his D2 hitbox would be nerfed and start up a bit slower.
Noob's shadow run would be a tad faster, but not MK 9 fast. His projectile would not be unblockable. His hook variation would not have that air teleport move, but I would replace it with a chain air zoning move think Kollector's move but in the air, and he'd have a projectile hook throw with it.
D'vorah I would just make her strings better, faster a little safer but not all of them and make her poopy bugs faster and more effective while getting rid of her unblockable set ups in exchange for all that and giving her a damage % increase with combos.
Kitana, I'd make her combos easier and more practical similar to MK 9, her fan speed I wouldn't touch, her damage I'd leave the same but would get rid of her 50/50' strings and make it so her combos are easier to do yet more damaging. I wouldn't touch her second variation other than replacing her mileena sai throw move with a move that works like Sektor's seeking rocket instead where she throws it and it's like a boomerang sai that tracks you.
Johnny Cage would take away his frame traps, restands and just make his strings safer and faster FB. His ball cruncher safe on block, on hit with enough time for the opponent to not be stuck in 50/50s more like oldschool MK. Increase the speed of his straight energy fireball, his shadow kick duckable and punishable if read right and not safe on block.
Can't say for NW, Sindel, Spawn etc since they're not out yet.

As far as single player modes, and other modes. Have a tag team mode again like mK 9 but with more options, ability to have 4 online players 2 per team or the way it was if we want 2 buddies at a house vs 2 other buddies somewhere else or one player controlling 2 characters vs another controlling 2.
Krypt needs to have shrine guarantees where you drop a certain amount you are guaranteed to get something you want in a certain category at least, if it'll be random at least give me something I want for example 75 K gets you gear pieces, you just don't know what but gear though it should be increased by character you use the most, same with 100K per outfit though at least you know you're getting an outfit.
Should work the same for augments, konsumables and icons, backgrounds. Certain amount gets you whatever you want. None of this randomized nonsense wasting coins and time.
Maybe have a mode where 2 players in krypt where you can invite a friend on your list to help you find stuff, in return they get rewards coins and stuff for helping you unlock stuff. Similar to a clan or factions in MK X where your team gets points for helping out contributing etc
For Online in head to head matches, make it for the love of God so that you can only see your cursor and you don't know who your foe is picking. This would eliminate counterpicking. Invisible cursor fixes this which I'm glad they took that suggestion years ago dating back to the 3D MK's but sometimes you can lose it and accidentally pick the wrong person, so if you're keeping Invisible cursor at least make it so the person using it has a high light only THEY can see so they never pick the wrong character.
