Ten different characters in Top 8
---------------------------------------------------------------

The max viewer count for Top 8 also ended up being the best out of all the games at a peak of 60,000 viewers.
With the second most entrants out of any tournament too, I'd say CEO was a huge success.

While some characters are clearly more popular, it doesn't necessarily dictate how successful they were deeper in the bracket.

Something important to bring up is that this is literally the game in it's FIRST PATCH! It's something that really gets me excited for the future of the game.

But I didn't want to dash
Based on what people have been saying, we know liu kang and kung Lao suck. Apparently kotal is amazing now because some beat a top player with him and scorpion is still a nuech killing, brain dead, broken character.

At first I thought that list was the whole tournament and it didnt make sense but it's top 64 lol

Kabal is usually placed high on the tier list I but never really see him succeed at tournaments. Is it because of his lower damage?

Mentioned in status other night but I was there on site. MK11 was the most attended (in person) of all the top 8's. on the big stage I honestly expected it to be smash but MK11 basically filled up the place minus the blocked off areas. Smash Ultimate had a fair bit of people at the start but a lot of people left after one of the early matches cause some fan favourite lost.

Also as a side note: Between SF/MK/Smash, SF/MK crowd and Smash crowd are very different. Smash players skew like 10+ years younger on average just by eyeballing everyone on site.

MKF30

Fujin and Ermac for MK 11
If only Jade was better than Scorp lol.

I'm surprised no Kabal's, but the others at the bottom I'm not. I mean it takes alot of skill and effort to win with those characters.

Hayatei lose to Kotal Khan and than to MIT.
He was in top 96.
Btw to the OP, from where is that statistics?
And why the stats are on top 64, not top 96, just like it was on the tournament. The tournament was bracket pools, top 96, top 24, top 8.
The statistics should be given like this.
The thing i mention and i notice is there was a lot of Liu Kang players and they beat so call "top" tier characters like Cassie, Geras, Sonya, Erron Black, Jacqui, Cetrion and so on.
P.P.
BTW this statistics is wrong:
Who are the 5 Cassie players in top 64? I don]t remember 5 Cassie player in top 64. No way there was 5 Cassie player. I dont think we had so many Sonya players as well in top 64, same goes for Jade.
And just checked Liu Kang player was atleast 3 - The Magician, Ninjakilla and SylverRye.
P.P.
Liu Kang is imba strong. He have so many varies CB that are easy to land, and he combines them with combos and his FB is so OP, easy done in combo.
His string are safe,he is pretty fast on attack, and is like zero cd after his attack. Has great combo damage as well.
Im pretty sure it`s a character that we will see more and more often. Can say the same for Kung Lao. Kung Lao break blocks, when he throw his hat and then attack you, if you are on block, it will break and lead to big combo. :D
I like it so much in the CEO. Foxy was on fire.
I like Tweedy with Frost as well. He made some mistake, but it was close with ninja.
And i mark hard on Kotal Khan win victory over Hayatei Black. ;D

Our community has the hype right now and we need to take this and run with it.

Why is it that I never see Kabal in tournaments? I only ever see one or two and they're not very popular players. What's the reasoning behind this?

I have the source on the bottom of the OP.
