@Dreamcatcher The time frame should be way shorter. Imo it should be 2-6pm to play 1st match. If you don’t check in by 2pm you are DQ’d, but don’t have to play 1st match until 6 if you wanted. Otherwise you will have people who forgot about this not saying anything and everyone else waiting on them until midnight, lol.

Imo next time. 2pm est - 6pm est to play first match. Must check in before 2pm or DQ’d. Must play 1st match before 6pm or DQ’d. It takes literally 10 seconds to go on here and check in, so there’s no real excuse. If something came up, again, 10 seconds. If you forgot, that’s fine, it happens, but you will be DQ’d.

That is my opinion at least. It sucks that everyone else who is ready to play has to wait for someone who may have simply forgot about the tournament.

No, and a decision needs to be made. It's one thing to have a broad window to play, which I admit I should have split in two halves today. That's on me and I apologize. But firm check-ins should have been required at or before 2pm EST today as well. We can't have people waiting to play winners of matches before them until God knows when, so it's more fair to DQ the "no shows" whether intended or not than to push this out further. Because if we continue to wait for them, other people's availability changes and they might not be able to play in the matches they fought to get to in the first place.

The following players have ONE HOUR to check-in and set a firm time with their opponent on when they will play, or they will be DQ'ed:
