What's up everyone, you're never going to believe this. I'm going to start off by posting a little link for everyone to get some background information off the bat.

On to my story... Last night after playing a long, hard, tear jerking MK session, I decided to call it a night and search through the game marketplace for something to buy. The past Christmas, I had recieved quite a few MS points and redeemed them the day of, purchashing one game (with LOTS left over) and saving the rest for another occasion. I went to make a purchase, only to realize that I had 40 points in my account. I thought XBL may have glitched out for what ever reason, so I signed out/in and no changes.
I then logged onto the xbox website because I remembered seeing a "purchase history" link. Once loading that page, I had seen that there were multiple (when I say multiple, I mean 30+) charges for MS points (as if someone had bought lots of small DLCs for a sports games or something) as well as purchases with my credit card for MS points and XBL bundles.
I immediately called the bank, cancelling the card, and called Xbox to inform them of the situation. They managed to pull up my account and viewed the various charges, and proceeded to tell me that they would lock the account and launch an investigation.
Now, it's a waiting game, and let's be honest, I'm not too impressed right now. The simple fact that I PAY GOOD MONEY every year for XBL to be protected against stuff like this, and they haven't even done their job. Now I have the hassle of having to change all my information, and go through the hassles with the bank and xbox to get this resolved which is rediculous. A similar situation came up on the Playstation and look what happend, class action lawsuit.
I'm not the only person that this has happend to, and I would like to hope that I would be the last that it will happen to. I urge EVERYONE to log onto the xbox website, check your purchase history, and click the link that will take you to a more in depth view of your billing history. If you notice ANYTHING that is out of the norm, ACT RIGHT AWAY. Call Xbox, call your bank, post here, and lets get something done about this.
THIS ISNT PLAYSTATION, WE PAY FOR OUR SERVICES!
I believe if this has happend to you, do not let it go lightly. This is not acceptable in any way, and should never have happend in the first place.
