DLC Characters possibly leaked

With the first Kombat pack being confirmed to contain 6 characters, it's really not crazy to assume the second Kombat pack will also contain 6 characters as well, which totals at 12 DLC characters.

18 doesn't seem likely though. They'll probably have two Kombat packs like they did in MKX. If that is the case though, then we still don't know what 3 of the DLC characters are.(Or 9 if by some miracle we get 18.)

What hints about a Marvel game? Boon saying he thought it would be cool to do one?

I would love to have more DLC characters in though. Idk if Smoke being in the Netherrealm, as a Revenant most likely is much of a dekonfirm but hopefully we can get Rain and Havik. I honestly figured he would have been the 3D era character they put in first.

Yeah, 12 (13 including Shao Kahn) has been my guess for the total number of DLC characters in the game too. It' safe to assume there will be two Kombat Packs, since MKX did.

So when you do his fatality or his throw brutality.... Who are the other robots that come in and kill your opponent? Are all three Triborg?

I think y'all are looking into it too much. He's not supposed to fit into MK lore or anything he's just a fun character that's really 4 characters that they had to come up with an all encompassing name/tower ending.

Yes, all three/four are Triborg. He chose the Lin Kuei styles from the database and the rest were spread among the new cybernetic bodies created for them.

All Tekunin are Triborg + the fighting style of a specific fighter from the database.

You could say he's the tech version of D'Vorah. I like him lorewise.

I have a feeling they will include Tekunin as a character and every loadout will be like a different TMNT character with it's own unique intros, voice lines, throws combo extensions and brutalities.

That should make everyone somewhat happy.

They just haven't said anything about it because of 'marketing and all other cool things' we can't know as consumers.

So... on one hand, I'm very happy that Sindel is back... on the other I HATE the personality retcon.

I'm a fan of Mortal Kombat Deception Sindel (the one that was freed from Shao and was focusing on making Edenia great alongside Jade). She was regal and noble. Retconing this to make her plot with Shao to kill Jerrod, making her a dominatrix lusting for sex slaves and changing her suicide into Quan Chi killing her is... too out of character.

I'm thinking about bombarding Kittlesen with tweets so they rethink changing her personality so much.

Cyrax and Sektor best make it tbh. They had a fairly meaty role to play in the story mode, they're referenced in a hell of a lot of intro dialogue between characters, they were able to be fought against ffs (and NRS said they wouldn't make unplayable NPC's again).

I would also like them to be seperate characters. None of this Triborg shit. Would be like adding Chameleon to cover all ninjas and not giving any of them their own roster slot.

Woah, where is that new personality stuff coming from? Is that in some of the arcade endings or something? Seems like a big change from the previously established character.

Thing about that is Brainwashed and Evil Sindel is way more popular. And I'm not going to take Sindel on her word in those intros. Even the Quan Chi one is sketchy because he brainwashed her in the first place

Well, the entire plotline will be retconned, so at this point they probably think they can do whatever the hell they like with the characters.

Exactly, I think it’s ridiculous asf...I hope she’s just still brainwashed
and she’s just trolling the f out of her opponents. They constantly ruin and undervalue Sindel’s character.

Yeah I'm sure your tweets are going to get them to change something they've clearly already planned out and already started coding into the game.

It looks more like placeholders than something that is already recorded... If enough fans join in the attack... Hope is the last thing you lose.
