I wake up this morning with an ear ache in both ears and throat pains, take some meds and go for a nap....and wake up to this and the pain subsiding. What a glorious fucking day. God is good y'all!!!

-Those Kitana skins are top tier awesomeness (I need to see some gear though) but all of those skins are so good.
-Skarlet with a ponytail is gorgeous and I'm so happy to see that she's still got the other hairstyles (despite not being able to change them.)
-FROST. IS. FUCKING. BEAUTIFUL. Omg I'm really shocked because I wasn't expecting her to be such a baddie, but here we are. I do hope her hair is gear and we see some of it because I'd like to make her bald, give her spiky ice hair etc. I wouldn't be surprised if she has alternate skins that give you those looks like Skarlet does though.

All I really need to see is some gear and/or skins for Frost, Kitana, Jade, Skarlet, and so on. This is hype AF. I literally have no complaints about what I'm seeing. This is either gonna make the week go by a whole lot quicker or a whole lot slower.......

 

What I really want to know because I'm not too sure is: do all the characters only have two outfits each cause I swore there were more. Mainly Skarlet.

It shouldn't be long before we get screenshots of the skins list, but Skarlet def had 3 skin variants in the beta, and more were confirmed in the leaks in this thread.

So, are the way of unlocking the other cosmetics through RNG in the Krypt?

So, don't mind my bitching here but is that not essentially just a fancier loot box?

The only thing I'll commend them for is that if there's a cosmetic you really like, it sounds like you can outright buy it instead of having to go through lootbox hell.

If this Krypt is anything like MKX's, wait for guides with written coordinates of the costumes, or Youtube walkthroughs so you know you're spending money on exactly what you want. I did this for all of the brutalities.

One thing that I absolutely LOVE is the fact that you can see all the skins + gear right from the character customization screen. You can actually see what it all looks like and see what you like the look of without it just dropping and you hoping it looks good or whatever. Good shit there.

Someone said that you can track gear like a 'quest' or something like that, yeah? I'm curious as to how much of a grind it's going to be for gear. I love how it TELLS you where and how you can unlock the gear.

Huh!? Pretty sure he can check veariations in training mode since they are preset... I think people’s mistake was to ask for them as “tournament variations” so he probably got confused. What we all want are the preset variations (which is the same but he probably doesn’t know that)

Sounds like it’ll only be if they do variations of each skin with different hair. Kinda like in the beta where one of Scorpion’s skins was extremely similar to his default, just without the hood.

 

I need to be able to play Frost, but give her a more Lin Kuei outfit with some thigh and arm showing, and let me apply a shader that turns her ice purple so I can name the variant Grape Slushie.

@MalevolentFix that is a great Idea actually!

 

They definitely did learn from Injustice 2 if that's the point. One of my bigger gripes there was that: it was also pretty much RNG if you got that cosmetic you saw online. The grind wasn't exactly fun with that since you spent more time in their RNG hoping "Damn, maybe this time around!" and still not getting anything to the point where it almost felt the game was against you.

If you can actually track cosmetics like that and do a few chores to get that specific item: I'm all for it. That's really cool that they'd introduce that. And if this "pay for" thing is paying directly for the cosmetic instead of trying to open up some random box all the time, then I was wrong and I'm really about that since it goes against what a ton of games are doing now with boxes [I.E. Overwatch].

That's pretty cool.

Every time a game leaks its someone who has no idea what he is doing.

At least he isnt filming his tv and is like "Oh shit you can see my reflection".
