I liked her core moves!

I think her buffs are very interesting. The one with the circle of water looks really useful, I know I'll use it!

Also, her second fatality is better than the first one.

I'm hoping she gets the option to switch with skins the effects of her strings from fire to water, similar to how Bizarro skin changed freeze effects with scorching effects in I2.

Is the energy beam she spews the same colour as the Dragons that ate Shao Khan at the end of MK9?

Now that we know there are two variations per character, and the "shield allows you to block after being hit move" takes up two slots, I wonder which moves of hers will be left out of competitive. I'm really, really, hoping her FTD move is in a variation, but for some reason I feel it's gonna be left out. I'm hoping something like the teleport is left out, but I doubt it since most characters always have their teleport.

I hope she gets the floating rocks special move from the trailer, that was one of the most interesting moves we've seen. She seems cool though, I like wacky zoners

IIRC they said she had 4 aura buffs, I'm guessing one for each element.

Rock zone was shown in the trailer, seems to just place hazardous projectiles in a large area
Water zone, she can block mid combo
Fire zone, just DoT while within it
Wind zone, they said that it pushes people out.

No not the vine, that's the Necro Hands move. I was thinking of the one from the trailer where she does the water attack that lifts them. I guess it would be more like a Raven grab type of move. It's faster than the boulder toss and vine.

it sounds to me like they're gonna eventually have all the gear moves in competitive play, they're just trying to keep it a bit more controlled at the start. I'm sure we'll get a variation with that move at some point.

I was kind of glad they didn't have any projectiles that came up from the ground in the MK Beta as Aquaman's vine/tenticle was so good for me but rather cheap and annoying for my enemies.

So when I saw this character revealed I was both excited and horrified! (Not unlike ordering a take-away while on a diet).

Sorry to my opponents... but give me those kind of zoning tools NRS and god damn it I will use them lmao.

Definitely going to main her, easily made for zoning and fighting far no doubt. I love how she is insanely op as she should be being an Elder God and all. I hope she's a key part of bringing down her mother honestly.

She looks fun. I just wish her wind tornado stunned or bounced you for a combo chance.

Same, I noticed in both her trailer and the Gameinformer thing she didn't really have many outside of 2 that we know. One, Steve didn't show but spoke about and the other was the one in the trailer and enhanced it goes full screen.

And they keep mentioning Shinnok. He even goes a bit deep mentioning Kronika's intentions. At this point I think Shinnok at least is playing a role in the story.
But if they keep comparing Cetrion to Shinnok, I suppose he's probably going to be playable. If he is so unpopular as some people say, then some randos watching these videos will start wondering who is Shinnok, "show it to me!" "sounds interesting", and so on.

My hot take on this character is that I think the majority of Mortal Kombat fans are edge lords like me. We want to see bad arse characters, anti heroes and sarcastic shit talkers.

Cetrion seems like a token character to appeal to the pansies that aren't really into Mortal Kombat, you know the type I'm talking about. The morons who think Fatalities are gross and stupid etc...
