How did Cassie do that? Stryker has a lot of potential outside of using a single gun, he got grenades, tasers, police equipment, I hope if he's in he gets a riot shield to advance while blocking projectiles, that would be dope.

IVe wanted Havik and Hotaru back fpr a while, Order and Chaos realm were so good in concept, BUT I think Noob having the no nose/skele style face kinda puts Havik on the not so likely side of things.
Your right about the riots, people will for sure riot if they give us Stryker as DLC over Mileena, Reptile and actual monstrous interesting characters that kinda lack so far in the roster, unlike gun using humans.
I think NRS can do lots of different things with the cleric of chaos, chaos = infinity, so there are infinite possibilities with his design, the half skeleton thing can take over, and having both blonde military women in Cassie and her mother doesn't seem to bother Ed Boon as well, so why would he limit himself by two hooded evil guys? Just remove the hood and we're fine.

Oh yeah, I'm not gonna hold my breath for this awesome character though, I'm used to getting disappointed by the choices NRS makes. Probably they end up with the only few characters I really don't want as DLC (while I have really a LOT of wishes for dlc this go around), they probably give me Stryker, Li Mei, Kung Jin and Takeda... four of the only characters I would not care for.
As a tourney player I will play anyone, but Im with you completely on most of your posts. The theme of this game is pretty bland so far. The Mk9 nostalgia thread has made me see how MKX lowered my standards, that roster kinda sucked too.
Maybe thats true, but the concept at least is worth keeping to me. His design was bery plain, but in the way that the OGs were plain. Armor and a flag, and you know the dude is a straight laced badass. I enjoyed him as the antithesis to Havik.
Yeah, you said it perfectly, thats why Id understand if he never returned. He NEEDS Havik, but Havik is fine as a Stand alone.
LOL, I already wanted to say Kai, I really love Kai, he's acrobatic as F, I love those tiger stripes and he shines in most of my fan-fiction. In which he is like Kung Lao, and Kung Lao is actually Shang Tsungs evil side-kick lol. I would add a Byakko (white tiger spirit) to him, like Liu Kang has a dragon, that would make him even better, but now Kotal has the black panther, maybe Kai could only SUMMON that tiger to attack for him. Just love the thought of spirit animals guiding characters, and those stripes on Kai are awesome, especially if they would be of luminescence material.
Shao Kahn is extra DLC as preorder bonus. Don't think that they'll add him after release, much similar to INJ2's Darkseid.
His Armor was sick, but his moveset at this point would need some innovation as magma was recently covered by Tremor. I think the other issue is his character motives and such. Hotaru's over zealous justice to the point of recklessness mirrors Dark Raiden in a way where he protects his realm by any means necessary, he was kind of overshadowed tbh.
I think Hotaru is awesome. I like his armour with the flags, his naginata, his white eyes and hair and his authoritarian demeanor. For me it's interesting how a character centered around law and order is willing to side with someone like Onaga, like a twisted way of understanding "order".
