I dunno if I'd say he's white per se but it is overall an unusually light skin tone compared to Jax's previous character models.

What's great for the lore nerds like me is that this isn't even Armageddon territory yet. This is the bigass war of Outworld in the underlying story of MKDA/Deception, but with time travel and no Deadly Alliance, that we yet know of.
Jacqui looks completely redeemed levels of better, as does Cassandra Cage.
It all looks phenomenal.

I am very curious about Frost, and the fate of the Lin Kuei and Sub-Zero if she's now a member of Time Gang.

Well this was an unexpected release... and wow, hype! That was amazing.

Not to mention Skarlet’s new hair, and D’Vorah looking like a total badass in her hood, Cassie being downright gorgeous... everyone just looks so good!

Except Frost. I’m a bit confused about that one. But surely her other costumes will be more familiar.

And check out the Kollector’s extra arms. He looks so bizarre. I like it.

So it appears Kronika is not above Elder God level, and they're just chilling like "yeah btw Raiden she'll kill everyone" lol as usual they never like getting directly involved. Curious to see how Shao Kahn comes back since the EG's killed him. Kronika probably pulls his ass from the past.

Story looks amazing, already much better than MKX's honestly from the looks of it. Two Johnny's working together is hilarious yet nuts.

Two Scorpion's fighting each other was dope.

No sign of Ermac, Fujin, Rain, Mileena, Jax, Stryker, Smoke, Nightwolf, Sindel among many others. I hope they show up at some point.


@ Vapid, I wouldn't say it's their take on "Conservative Christians" or any "religious" element but just their own story trying to show Kronika's perspective of justifying why she wants everyone to inevidably die. This story is centered around the past, present and future with both times lines that's already happened so far in the MK lore/canon. You're thinking too much into it.

They're dressed like the monks from Shang's Island too. Maybe there's an actual cutscene where he steals everyone's soul on the Island, even Goro's.

Yoooo, imagine if Goro was actually apart of Shang's moveset because of that. Throwback to his MKII Kintaro fatality.

And with all those souls he gets Goro’s 4 arms and becomes blue ,and now calls himself the Kollector)

Seems my biggest nightmare has come true... It's all about the Special Forces UNGAIN!...

I really hoped they would have a smaller role in this, but they are everywhere in the trailer :-(

Nothing big on Sub-Zero, Noob or Scorpion though, and no Cetrion (well you see her in the elder gods scene with Raiden) so it can still be cool I guess, but this Special Forces fest + the annoying RAP song, didn't make my day.

You know what's crazy? Back in the day Mortal Kombat 9 was already a great and ambitious game. Then Injustice 1 set the bar even higher. Then Mortal Kombat X set the bar even higher. Then Injustice 2 set the bar even higher. Now Mortal Kombat 11 seems to be setting the bar even higher.

I absolutely can't wait to see what NRS will do with Injustice 3. Especially because I'm fairly certain that Injustice 3 will come out for the new generation consoles and might as well make the jump to the Unreal Engine 4 for real this time. There is like no way Injustice 3 won't look even better than the already amazing MK11 looks.

My thoughts on the trailer, I'm just going to keep short and sweet because I'm not sure words can do it any justice. So, Netherrealm Studios: +1 guys and gals.

As for who's hiding behind that wall looking all cautious, my money is on Hanzo. Why? Well, because he has the tan skin of Hanzo, and the environment seems similar to the one in which Hanzo is charging through with his katana drawn.

Now, as for Skarlet's hair, my original theory was "maybe it has to do with a different skin"...but in reality, maybe it's actually one of her "hood" gear options...?
