Yes dear person, but people that don’t like them also have the right to state it, just like Special Forces fans have the right to hate on actual cool characters like Rain, Noob and Skarlet.

I want Kano. Always liked him since MK1. He's our resident scoundrel bastard son of a bitch, lol.
I also like the Cages/Blade but I also like Noob and Scarlet. I'm completely neutral on Rain. Other than purple being a popular color and there not being any other water characters (minus his use of lightning) unless people played a LOT of MK Trilogy were he was like insanely cheap,lol, I don't get his mass appeal. I'm fairly certain it's because he's purple and so people include him as "diverse" mistaking him for LGBT-support instead of just being a a bad Prince joke turned into a character.
The only character I was seriously like "ugh" or just "why" to see included was Shinnok because I think he serves the story better as a severed head bitterly droning on about his constant failures than he does a roster spot. Hopefully he'll represent more of the necromancer and less imposter if Shang is indeed in. Everything Shinnok has done up to this point somebody else simply does a billion times better and does it with more style and dignity (and "up to this point" is key here because NRS can always prove me wrong with some fantastic gameplay change). Hopefully they also make him look less... Palpatine.

He's the only cool male Edenian character. He has WEATHER powers (shown in comic) and looks cool, also his vain behavior appeals to me.

Though he isn't among my top 5 favorites (Mileena, Sektor, Tanya, Ermac and Noob), I want him the most in MK11 of them all.

BTW, I like Kano too, but I'm kinda bored with him being in every game lately, even my ultimate favorite Mileena could easily skip one game. But I want her in much more than the likes of Jax and Sonya. But if I could skip Mileena for Havik in this game, I would do so, just for the change.

Jacqui/Sonya: boring get her out. Use her spot for fucking HAVIK (or some other freak)

Cassie: she can stay only because she's Johnny's heir BUT, as you've mentioned, drop the SF bullshit and turn her into goddamn green lantern bringing magical green death everywhere

Takeda & Kung Jin: glad they're not in the game, all four Kombat Kids would have been too much for my weak psyche

And if they need Sonya and Jacqui for the story, just put them in as unplayable like they did to Rain and Baraka in MKX.

Edit: Again, just to show that I'm not just a random hater, I think Geras looks fantastic. Magical, demigod, not human, all good. His powers are just fucking cool.

Sindel probably doesn't serve the plot to merit her inclusion this time around, but next time maybe? Rain too. I can't say I'm going to miss them anyway. With Raiden fucking up the timeline and revenants still running around, that will need to be sorted. I expect Onaga will pop up for Mortal Kombat 12 and usher in that era of Nortal Kombat. Or not. MKX was a much-needed remake of MK4, but the games afterwards don't really need remade because they're so good. So the storyline might go somewhere else completely.

I wouldn’t mind the following Special Forcesgroup in one game: Jax, Sonya, Kenshi and Cyrax. Much variation, very different from each other and only four members.

I don't understand why people keep complaining about SF, yes they were too many in MKX but here they are 5 out of 25 charatcters. It seems more reasonable to me.

They got almost an entire game about them in MKX. Don't want another story mode with them in the focus, imo.

I'm kinda hoping that the story mode changes that again. It would be cool to see someone like Liu Kang be a hero again. Ideally not only with the younger selves via time travel, I'd love a redemption story arc for the revenants.

That is your opinion. Mine is that I despise those chapters and I think they belong in other games.

Since SF will probably play a big part of the story, those scenes are necessary. Do you really want a story with bland protagonists ? I understand that you probably want a story that revolves more about shaolins, fantasy etc., but this is necessary to have at least a decent story. And with the introduction of the multiverse, the story will be less focused on SF than MKX was anyways, because we saw non-revenants Liu Kang and Kung Lao in the trailers.
