Ed Boon Is Up To Something Big

Positive Poster!
Didn't they both die in the comic, though?

That aside, I think people really overestimate how much that comic sold. There's presumably a reason they aren't doing one for MK11.
Strangely enough I see no sales figures on the wikipedia article which is odd.
It could be that you're right and it really didn't sell well enough for them to dare mention it.

Either way, I think we all just need to calm the fuck down and wait for the game to release lol

Here's to hoping.

Baraka died in MKX. Liu Kang, Kitana and Kung Lao are technically dead, so what gives. Not a 100% reliable indicator in the MK universe :D

You may be very right about the sales though. I only thought it may have brought some characters on the map again, but I have no idea how successful it was. I took the return of Skarlet, who also played a role in that story, as a possible factor, but she may very well be the only one.

I think Skarlet being an MK9 character is more of a factor than her having shown up in the comic. In general the comic seemed like NRS had handed Kittelsen a bunch of characters -- Reiko, Havik, Daegon, Mavado, Hsu Hao, Tasia, Jarek, Drahmin, Moloch, Shujinko, et cetera -- that they have no real future plans for.

That's very well possible. I also don't think any will make the main roster. We'll see for DLC, there's so many options anyways.
