How Did Aging Hit You CHALLENGE!

Apparently this is going on Twitter and alot of FGC members are partaking. So thought it be fun to bring it here :)

Basically how it works is, post a pic of yourself waaaaaaay back like 2010 to beyond, then post a pic of you recently (2018/2019).

This should be fun to see your before to now shots. So Uncle JBeezY will start. I cant host pics for the death of me especially at work, so a link will just have to do :)

Fun Fact...

The 10 Year Challenge was a meme invented b y facebook itself.. not some user and is designed to test and train their face recognition algorithms. No that is not some lame conspiracy thing, it is just a truth. Facebook has said so itself. The idea was to get a bunch of morons to post images of themselves onto the internet at different age levels. So the ai already knows they are the same person. Then go from there with face matching tech. The goal is to be able to track people off a photo when young even if they have aged many years, change clothing style, got fat or thin.. etc etc,

It isn't some crazy theory. Facebook itself said this as part of its court mandate to be more open with its users. So no crazy talk here.. facebook themselves said this is the case.

Sorry, but they didn't say anything like that.

I think you're referring to something they said in 2010 when they announced they have facial recognition technology to help tag friends or yourself in pictures. It was a huge controversy privacy-wise, and still is to many people.

This whole 10 year challenge conspiracy theory started when Kate O' Neill tweeted this:

And it was shared 400,000 times like wild fire and started the crazy rumor.

It got so big that facebook DID step up and say something.

They said that the meme was user generated and that it's just people having fun.

Facebook literally has everyone's photos on it already. They don't need some silly challenge to help them pull strings like super villains.

Facebook could be up to some shady shit in general, but this definitely is not part of their shady shit.
