Soul Calibur 6: THE SOUL STILL BURNS!

Alright in the lab and can't seem to do any of Nightmare's moves that have (fast) at the end. How fucking fast am I supposed to do the input?! Some I've quickly slid my thumb across the pad and the correct inputs showed up. WTF am I doing wrong?

Some people need their R.E. button taken away. There is a lot risk and ways to discourage it, but there is enough reward in there that it's 80% of what some people do. Getting RE'ed by a Nightmare for massive damage, and him walking away with two full bars after round ONE seems a little nuts even for the risk. (I'm assuming it was the RE since that is pretty much all that happened.)

I don't really use it much, but I just started using it to kill on low life. Seems like it was inflicting way too much damage for starting the sequence. I was surprised with how much damage I was doing.

What would be the consequences of making RE damage your guard a little for doing it? So if it was all you ever wanted to do, then eventually you set yourself up for a guard break. It wouldn't impact the meter game, you could always do it. It would cause you to sort of expend a resource/pay a price for doing it.

The problem probably goes away once you clear mash tiers, but unfortunately that's where I live in FG's.

It already does that...

Was about to ask that.

I main Raphael, i would like to hear from other Raphael players what they think about him.
My impressions after playing some Raphs were he had great mids and not much else.

But mind you this might not have been an especially amazing Raph player.

Is this accurate with testing? Mostly from what I remember most of the weapons with varying ranges have been removed like the vajra. I can't imagine the parts giving a huge advantage, tracking is preaty generous.
I should formally test it but you are given a prompt when changing body type that this has a gameplay effect. I'll see if I kind find anything.

Having to fight an enemy when you can't see their limbs is pretty lame.

Doing some Masters of the Universe designs. Got Skeletor and Trapjaw. Skeletor was tough because the Revenant can't be shirtless, so I had to make a Colossus and layer the head with a bunch of effects. Up close it looks pretty bad, but I think it will look fine in a match; much better than a clothed Skeletor revenant.

Trapjaw was interesting. I managed to get the "trapjaw" effect with a cube, a cylinder, and a red sticker.

Juggernaut was tough to pull off. Still not totally happy with it, but I think that's as good as it's going to get.

A tip for people, play the game how it is, not how you want it to be. You will not only improve more quickly, you will have a better time doing it.

I’ve seen so many complaints on different aspects of the game. Instead of complaining, accept it. Incorporate into your game, find ways to beat it or get around it.

Having a negative view on certain mechanics will only hinder your progression.
