Expectations on them including team battle mode?

I guess with these character models these days the best I should hope for is for the game to have decent loading times.(Unlike Tekken 7 and DBFZ)

Apparently if the leaked list is correct (so far it is) then the rest of the characters of the main roster would be Cervantes, Hwang, Lizard Man, and Raphael.

Not mad at it.

I NEED Raphael. Eagerly awaiting that announcement if true.

An aside, the armor break-and-disappear system in this game is fugly as hell and should go. I know it won't given its too late at this point, but holy shit what a half baked idea that has been kept alive through this series.

Not the SCIV Raphael though. Anything but that abomination.

I'm still pissed about this Tira stuff man. I really wanted to play her but I don't like how they want to strong arm you into the Season Pass. I mean pre-order bonuses are one thing, you know what you're getting into there. But to pre-order a Season Pass (which is in itself a pre-order) is just a really shitty business practice.

I'm curious what other fans are going to do. A) Buy the Season Pass B) Buy Tira seperate C) Pass on both D) Wait until the characters for the Season Pass are announced?

Tira is NOT a pre-order bonus for the season pass.
They made it sound like it first, but they clarified it later that it wasn't the case.

You can get Tira either by buying the season pass, no pre-order required, or you can buy her as stand-alone DLC.

Unless a developer shows me every character in a season pass i will not buy it. I'll wait until the season pass goes on sale or wait for the GOTY edition to become cheap and replace my original version.

This was the funniest fucking thing last night and it really sucks that it happened (somebody gettin fired) but Raphael looks stylish as hell.

However....word on the street is that if this game is not successful, it will be the last of the franchise. That whole Tira debacle did not do them justice. So im asking, are y'all gonna buy the game and purchase the season pass?

I already ordered the game and season pass bundle. They already got basically the whole Soul Calibur 1-2 roster in the game, which is reason enough to buy it and support it and anyone that isn't buying it over this Tira situation probably wasn't anyway/was fence sitting and looking for an excuse. If you legit like Soul Calibur then that should stop nothing.

I think everyone is being highly dramatic. The Tira situation is highly amusing because most of these people are/were buying the season pass BLIND without even knowing what characters or items will be included so I find it laughable that people wanna throw a fit over this. At least you get a popular fan favorite that you KNOW you will get from your purchase.


I don't even care about Tira that much so for the so called fans of her to be crying about getting her via season pass purchase or standalone DLC is just obtuse. If Talim was in her boat, my response would have been, "I was already buying the game and season pass anyway." A lot of this feigned outrage needs to stop. Unless people are going to actually protest with their wallets, the whining is so pointless and as we have seen with MK and other games, lots of tears followed by lots of still buying the item/product anyway.

EVERY SINGLE DAMN SENTENCE! *Claps*

Ive seen a couple of videos of guys ranting over the Tira situation and Im like, "REALLY?" I find it quite dumb plus i really dont care about Tira anyways. Honestly dont even care for the Witcher guy, but im happy that we get another franchise that actually looks REALLY GOOD! From gameplays and small tournaments from past pros showcasing the game, it already looks promising enough that this game is awesome.

Like I always do, Uncle JBeezY is getting that pass and I'll see you on the battlefield whooping dat ass ;)
