Tom Brady and 16 Bit to Commentate at Combo Breaker

Yes you read that right. The OG Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei is going to be on mic with current-time NRS team member and all-time Catwoman player 16 Bit at Combo Breaker this weekend. They will be responsible for covering MK9 pools and taking everyone down nostalgia road in a safe and efficient manner.

The news was confirmed via Twitter, seemingly rounding out our roster of Combo Breaker commentators alongside PND Ketchup and Mustard and Mr. Aquaman. Combo Breaker is shaping up to be the most interesting thing to happen in the NRS scene in a LONG time, between all of the games, the start of the Injustice Pro Series second season, and a possible MK11 reveal that may or may not have been leaked. If you were going to watch just one major this year, this should be the one you make an effort to catch.

Injustice 2: Pools are between 3-5 PM on Friday and 10am-12pm on Saturday
Top 48 at 4 on Saturday
Top 16 at 6 on Saturday
Top 8 at 8 on Saturday

MKX Top 24 is at 7 on Friday
Top 8 is at 2 on Saturday

MK9 Pools are at 1 on Friday
Top 8 is at 9 on Friday

16bit is the greatest commentator nrs has ever had. Equally adept at filling you in on the technical side, as he is at giving you the behind the scenes info on why that particular player match-up might be particularly juicy. Then to top it off he can bring the hype and laughs whenevr necessary as well.

Yeah, the context just called for the mention of the other two but I’d never forget Slips; he was just as integral.

I firmly believe the only thing that could return TYM to its glory days from this state of decay would be them bringing KTP back for MK11.

No, not really. Tom and I haven't been super close and we've had several heated arguments but it's never been so serious we don't have fun times when we see each other at tournaments. With guys like Pig, Dave, and Tom it doesn't matter how mad I get with them, I'll always end up catching up with them and sharing some laughs when we're together.
