I want to have calm and non offenisive conversation, no need to attack. Vegeta assist, Best in the game, no doupt. Imo when u say this is 3v3 game and say assist makes char top tier, we should then be talking about team tiers. Vegeta him self has no use of his assist alone. Imo he is top mid tier.
i didn't really attack lol. I just thought you were getting at me, the way you said I can't say his assist didn't make me think you wanted a rational conversation.
Assists can impact the outcome of the game very heavily. Cell with Piccolo assist or Cell with Vegeta assist is two very different characters, capable of doing very different things.
an easy example of how much impact your choice in assists can affect the game, your anchors assist in general is affecting the field for twice the length that your Point is even spending on field.
Vegeta is CONSISTENTLY being chosen over characters like a. Gohan, 16 and even Cell, at the highest level of the game, because he simply has a higher impact on the game than they will. Your assists are no less important than the other aspects of a team.
If you think his assist is overrated, I can understand putting him mid tier.
If you don't think his assist is overrated however, yet think he is mid tier though because "a character can't be top tier because of an assist", then you are misunderstanding what actually wins games. Vegeta and the impact he has on a match has won more games at top level than Gohan or Kid Buu have combined.
Also, on field he's really not bad at all anyway. DP, top tier lvl 3, instant fullscreen combo starter, 2 lows, above average damage, decent buttons and good mobility.
Strong character. Shouldnt be at all controversial to put him top tier when he's literally 3 out of 4 teams in every top 8.
