Soooo... basically hells yeah!

Broly can optimally extend Nappa combos midscreen. Corner timing is trickier but doable. We in there!! I might be taking on too much big-body in such a pressure heavy game, but we’ll see.

Gonna work on a tri-team where Nappa, Frieza and Broly are variable, with ss Vegeta as constant.

Also, Broly’s raw lvl1 dhc’d into Nappa anywhere except absolute full screen allows Nappa to SD and continue, and is fairly plus on block (albeit with hefty pushback). It can be reflected/lvl3’d. Lvl1 interruptions on the original attack are janky af lol, Broly takes damage, but dhc tagged char doesn’t... depends on the Lvl1 used to interrupt I guess.

Can’t get it mid-combo yet, seems tricky. If they’re airborne you need to delay dhc (with both Nappa and Vegeta), else they’ll pop over Broly’s lvl1, but delaying means you can’t combo. Might be possible if you Lvl1 while in HKD and immediately dhc, but his HKD option doesn’t have much stun.

Loving him rn.

Can u test bardock heavy to his punching ki special for punishable gaps?

Can u also test his down heavy to see if he gets airborne and is able to cancel into spin pressure if he does


Does he have any true hard knock downs?

Just found that Broly’s 214L.Lvl1.(Vegeta dhc).SD.ender combos. Can land mid combo with sparking/vanish:

Edit doesn’t work with vanish sorry, as 214L no longer gets HKD

He’s only got lvl3 for true HKD unless I’m missing something, but grounded 214M and aerial 214H are decent techable HKDs.

2H doesn’t go airborne.

Cancelling 5H/2H into any spinfist in the corner is gapless and safe but minus.

5H into the delayable punch (236S) has a big gap, you can poke through.

All tested Bardock vs Bardock.

So what is the deal with Broly shield move is there a downside to it, it cost no meter?
Nope, just startup.

Doesn’t stop supers, but does ignore other projectiles, including Nappa’s 236S (ground explosion). Also ignores projectile assists, but goes away on hit.

Eh. Cant see myself putting either character as a team.

Broly is kinda fun... was getting like mid 5k combos midscreen... vanishes into follow up 2M relaunch combos just like everyone else..but i couldnt find a way to ever combo into level 1 which was kinda weird.

Bardock just feels like another saiyan imo. Nothing different enough to be interesting

Not really sure I understand. Offline vs online.... an adult gohan or kid buu player calls a beam assist and then vanishes. What offline reaction is available that doesnt end up with you blocking until you're in the corner eating infinite mixups?

I suppose you could just let vanish hit you, but getting hit on purpose as your best choice seems like a bad game to me.
the difference is that he doesn't need to hit you with a beam assist to do it unpunished online


I absolutely am there with you man. All this talk about tiers n shit is sooooo fucking irrelevant to how you as an individual play, unless you want to copy somebody's team, but that's lame as fuck.

Kid Buu on the other hand has ALWAYS been on top. I dont know why ppl are surprised all of a sudden. Cuz of what....the top player places him on his personal tier list? Re-tarded. But whateva....work on YOU and YOUR team rather than obsess with somebody else's. Thats my thang ;)

Edit.Right gonna sleep but found the DHC thing works easier with 2H in the corner. Unoptimised, but gotta call it a day....
