If this is partially in reference to me, because I specifically said gibberish and in-jokes.. I get it. I know what he means. I get the references. Its not hard to get them because they really arent all that deep or obscure - exception being him mentioning an event that happened prior to my keeping up with the FGC. Yipes is clearly a smart dude, but I didn't insult anyone who DOES like the guy, and, like I said, I DO like him, just in small doses. After a couple hours of hearing him make loud noises and repeat himself, he wears thin for me. Yipes IMO is a top 4 commentator. Top8 if he's paired with someone who keeps things a little more even-keeled. But pools or top 16 or something? Its just too damn much.

The man has his moments, and he's made me laugh numerous times. But I dont need to be drug into any "small minds" insultfest horseshit because I like more technical and laid back commentary over a long duration.

Sooo do you guys know how to consistently punish dps? I know if they vanish you can 2H but depending on how they time the vanish they can make it jail off of the dp, or make you whiff your 2H and punish you. I heard there is a way to punish everytime I just can’t figure it out.

Like sorry I’m not enough of a nerd for some people but I’ll take an Aris or a Yipes any day making me laugh and occasionally dropping knowledge over the opposite.

I remember him of being huge in the movie, but NOT that huge. In the movie he was 2m tall. In the game he's like 3m.

This guy with the command armor is Jason in LSS mode. I gotta test many stuff about him. Already considering this as an ender.

TFW he has the slowest lvl3 in the whole game?? Thinking of using it in corner game.

Power-wise, he seems to be the strongest of everyone in the game. Gotta see how much stronger he is, compared to the rest.

yeah, that's not what I was saying at all, and Aris is one of my favourite casters of all times, and I just named TastySteve as my favourite caster, so you are clearly missing the point here, nobody is claiming you need to be dropping frame data every second so let go of that strawman because wth is that shit lol. And I forgot Aris.. Aris is hilarious and I can deal with him long term. For me, Yipes' energy is what gets me. I know that's weird, but after about an hour and a half I just can't deal with that much hype anymore. Aris has that laid back thing going.. though I feel like he's a super weird dude lol.

Aris is really clever and his game commentary is on point at the same time, he's a great caster, and his casting relies on the use of actual language, I don't see the similarity JBC has drawn between Aris and the reasons we dislike Yipes, I don't think it's there at all
