Bardock seems underwhelming. Hard to tell from that video, since whoever was playing was terrible. When they do showcase videos, it would be nice if they had someone at least decent enough to simply cycle through all their moves. Don’t even have to do combos, jesus.

How is Noctis Lucis Caelum for you? I haven't tried him out yet since I've been on the road for 6 bloody days now. My dudes say he's the Goku Black of Tekken lul. Better suited battle Arena Toshinden or Soul Caliber.

He's....weird as fuck hahah. So awkward to play as an Eddie main, but im getting the hang of his moves. We shall most def take that conversation in the Tekken 7 area ;)

16 and Cell are equally as good as A.Gohan, probably Goku Black as well. Also, I very rarely face A.Gohan players/teams,

If Go1 used 16, he would have made him look more broken than he is too. It’s what godlike players do. Relax.
Meh. Im not even exaggerating. 13 matches in a row today against adult gohan and goku black teams.

I'm posting this to clarify the people meme-ing on the streams and videos on Dragon Ball fighterz.
There I go:
Source: Random youtube comment
Basically, Hispanic Youtubers that misinform children like to talk about characters supposedly getting new forms like "Gohan White" or as they like to call it, "Gohan Blanco". Non-Hispanic Youtubers decided to make a crack at Hispanic Youtubers for making up characters, and misinforming children, SethTheProgrammer goes at all misinformers. One day a guy by the name of Joe Capo came along to help provide clarity to those who didn't understand these misinformers' gibberish, creating "Gohan transforms into Gohan Blanco for the first time". Somehow this managed to confuse the DBZ community even more, because despite the fact his video was made to insult those who talked about new characters and forms with no proof, the Hispanic DBZ community thought it was a joke that THEY were supposed to laugh at, despite the fact it was targeted towards them. Since then, Joe Capo has created multiple different characters including El Hermano, Cell Dorado, and Shaggy. Now we're here, DBZ fans still equally as confused, because the top comment is/was "English DB fans make theories and predictions. Espanol DB fans make MEMES".

literally transcribing the commentary where i started watching. are these people just commentators because people like their voice or something? objectively speaking this commentary is just ass. NOT the worst I've heard because Yipes just basically makes noises over top the entire match sometimes but damn. Thought we could do better than that for the biggest DBFZ match yet

Tbh, I found the commentary entertaining but sometimes lacking in attention to technical detail.

Also despite occasionally trying to hide it, the bias shone through a little much for my taste. When Goichi implements a clever mix or gets a great conversion there were as many “awwwww”s as there were “wow”s.

Matches were hype af though. I have a suspicion nerves eventually got the better of Sonic. He brought his A game and definitely looked a little better this time around.

Goichi is legit godlike. This set didn’t even really come down to Gohan leg loops, he just kept it calm and executed the gameplan perfectly. Unspeakably good defense, patience, awareness, pressure and optimisation.

Yipes is hands down the worst commentator I've ever heard in my life commentating high level games, and I've followed more different competitive scenes and genres than I can even recall.

But I guess small minds are easily entertained

My favourite commentator is easy KP. Dat voice tho! Plus he’s the NRS com-father. Bias is obviously there but he’s much better at giving props to both fighterz.

Everyone’s still learning the game too, which will obviously affect commentary quality.

Who do you like for this game @God Confirm? Most streamchats seem to beg for Yipes....

I know you weren't asking me.. but I've been messing with Noctis some. He's really really solid right now and has all the tools to stay that way. He's a mid to long range hit-and-run styled character, but at close range he has an i13, very good ranged, df1 that's only -1 on block and something like +7 oh.. as well as normal 1 and 12 jab strings.. you can tack a 3 or 4 onto them as well for built in SS evasion and space.

He had a damn Demoman that floor breaks.

He has some interesting + frame stuff but you kinda have to earn it.. charged db1+2 and wr1+2 are absolutely insane and both lead to 70+ damage off +ob long range mids. Non-charged db1+2 is - but very difficult to punish due to enormous pushback. You have ff1+2 as a homing mid with good range though to try and check them stepping your launchers, or just 1+2, a fast-for-what-it-is mid starting NC that does over 40 damage and tracks on the first hit. Also has some built in mix if blocked by being able to cancel the second hit. Powerful, safe, mid, low crushing launcher (doesnt look like a hopkick but functions as one) in uf2. And his df2 is just absolutely incredible. fast, not terribly negative, mid launcher. Unlike other df2s though, his lunges forward a good distance and travels vertically as well. @Tanno I believe found that you can catch DJin in his Fly stance with it, into a combo. It's an amazing whiff punisher.

His damage is very high imo. His df2 and uf2 stuff ramges from 62-64~ with excellent carry. I've actually changed glthe widely used BnB around some to get rid of the side switch at the end,.because.carrying someone to the wall only to purposefully put your back to it for 1-2 extra damage is dumb. Several of his big launchers like wr1+2 and db1+2 lead into the mid 70's and I've managed 84 damage off his df2 modified BnB into a wall splat and followup, but the damage depends on range.

He's a complete package imo and though it's early, with every day that goes by I think more and more he's going to end up EXTREMELY strong. On paper anyway, he has absolutely everything.

I like Yipes, but only in small doses. He's hype and interesting but man his gibberish and in-joke stuff wears thin quick. TWO PIECE NO BISCUITS. We get it yipes. Thank you. We get it. We got it the other 11 times you said it.

I think of KP similar to Yipes. These guys have got that "voice for radio" where they just sound great on the mic, but what they say is just so mindless. KP hangs off that one gimmick he does with the analogies, but hell he's a damn step up from Yipes who often just spams gibberish and reaction noises for an entire match. That's why I ask if people purely like them for their voice lol I don't get why they casting. I take back him being the worst caster though when I just remembered "full stick of butter" nothing will ever trump that I think.

But to each their own, it's clearly what a lot of people like, to me it's not good commentary at all. I'm not sure who I'd pick as the best caster for this game, mostly it's just been Yipes as far as I've seen, I haven't watched a huge amount of DBFZ. In general, As long as they are half decent casters I'm generally okay with them. My favourite is definitely Steve and Sajam.

Im with you there, Steve and Sajam are great, with Sajam being my favorite. I like Zhi a lot as well actually, lol, provided he's paired with a technical commentator. Sajam is a great mix of humor and technical knowledge IMO. He can jabber, but its not constant, it's usually well delivered and he chooses his moments well. By and large I prefer a mixed commentator pair, with a color commentator and a technical specialist on-board. I kinda wish we'd get a step-up in the technical commentary in general though.. I mean, I know it's hard to talk about frame data and all that shit in the middle of a fast paced match, but.. in general, Id like to hear more of the technical side of what's going on. Sajam does this INCREDIBLY well sometimes.. Like when he re-commentated the Tokido vs Diago match on his stream. I was enthralled.

What is with this specific forum and calling people stupid if they don't agree. Come on man don't be an ass, I've followed just as many as you I'm sure and when it comes to entertainment Yipes and Matrix are way up there only other team I remember making me laugh as much is Aquasilk and Chris Hu. But ok small minds, ass
