Typical match vs A.Gohan for me, please feel free to chime in on where I can get out of his pressure. I have not really labbed vs him which is dumb of me but the couple people I play regularly do not use him. Can I reflect the ex or normal legs after 2h? The oh/low mix up from 2s in the corner or on cross up is pretty god damn nasty when covered by a assist. I also thought I heard something was plus frames only at lvl 0 and that is why he chose to finish me off with lvl3?

Funny match though has a bit of a suprise twist lol

I cant see the video on the work computer sadly, HOWEVER to answer your question, you can reflect AFTER the legs. They will ALWAYS go into an overhead attack so you have to block high after the 2H. But playing against Gohan's online, the reflect works after the crazy legs attack

Everybody is using broken ass teams lol
Thats cuz its hard not to since everyone in this game has insanely ridiculous dirt. Like i said before, i think it's so damn funny how people are like.. "lol 16 is so dumb and braindead! He's broken! Also my team is a.gohan, goku black and cell."

Lol yeah ok.

Like other people seem to be doing, ive found myself switching my point character to anchor. Mostly because i want to be as strong with the rest of my team as i am with 16. Its been working great.. like... "oh you beat my cell? Neat. Have fun with this armor spamming, hkd dunking bullshit."

and im messing around with a secondary team with 21 on point which is super fun

Nope. Assists timed to cover that and keep pressuring.

Hmm I was trying to reflect it but I may have mistimed try to worry about other stuff he could do lol. I blocked the first oh after the ex legs and then the next time he did it he just dropped and went low. I am sure I can do something there but that is a risky read as the gap is small.

Ok i did see on my phone really quick, and yeah he had his assist on point. BUT those other times he did not use the assist was perfect to reflect. The opponent read that he couldnt do it, so them lightening kicks kept a-coming.

You was blocking ALOOOOOOOOT lol. I found out thats a big no no in this game. I mean, your defense was solid at times, but your opponent read that you could not handle the pressure so he abused the fuck outta you. BUT you did come back swinging and now he was afraid of YOU! I will say this, do NOT be afraid to go in on his ass! I wanted to yank you from my screen and scream USE SPARKING BLAST YA DUMMY! Hahah. When you have the upper hand, take full advantage of that because this game is also mental.

I think blocking in this game is perfectly fine if you know your options and what to look for from the block strings, in this case I do not. I got not problem holding 3 full block strings when assists are up but if I dont know how to get out of the final strings mixup its no good lol.

What else do you do besides block when you get caught in his strings and they have 2 assists up I can't be pushing buttons at random, I need specifics on this one lol. So you can 100% reflect anything after normal or ex legs that is the part I am having trouble with. I Just need something I can specifically watch out for to know that it is my moment to take my turn back without a yolo read or crazy guess.

Since you know he isnt going to stop you could guard cancel / guard change. Under used mechanic taht is really good
Yeah I did that in my match but at the start you don't have the meter to do it right away. I use it more then I should a lot of times and get punished for it though.

Use Your meter every time offensively to get your own offense started instead. Example You get hit... The character is almost dead. If you manage to land a hit with one bar... do a vanish into a change of character or if You have no meter a knockdown into a tag. or a raw vanish into a tag.
With two bars is even better... super into super into advantage.

Defense in this game... how cute... defense in this game is to start your own offense... You make them to block. Loool.
WHOOP THERE IT IS! I had to learn that rule the hard way lol. But thats the beauty of this game, ANYBODY can get fucked up really fast but a solid offense then BAM character down!

Well i get armor... plus no one recognizes when they get reflected and then stops and blocks. Ive nevet played anyone recognized right away and stopped pressing buttons. So reflect 5H hits every single time.... push them away, they press another button, lol armor. Now block this stupid dunk hkd mixup.

Yes it is obviously way better to be on offense but just sometimes you have to block and those times i would rather not roll over or randomly mash and would like to figure out specifics on what move it is best to reflect after and what options they may have to bait it out.

Ok so the consensus is the best way to get out of A.gohan pressure is to reflect after air legs? I was always trying to reflect after the 2h which seems to reflect most everything the rest of the cast does, so I think that is where my problem was. Anyone else that know any more specifics I should watch out for when I happen to accidentally block vs him :D

Oh holy 2H oh be saved 5L and 2L saviour of poor scrubs like me when They mistime their assist into overhead or strings into more strings into assist crap. So I can start my own bullshit on them. LMAO. I tried to be too a finesse reflect idiot. soon I realized the amount of bullshit on block.

Reflect only works on finesse idiots that don't abuse block strings into assists.

I have no idea what you are trying to say lol.

Picture this... Cell doing lows into teleport into vegeta assist into another assist. Now try to reflect all of this without mashing the gap instead.:DOGE
I guess I would have to put myself in the situation to understand it and weigh the risk reward of my options. With cell though the reward is usually never in your favor. So your saying you can only reflect out of it and there is a small gap that you have to time multiple reflects? When you say mashing the gap I am assuming it is with reflect right or are you talking about normals?

And what are you doing even in a cell block string in the first place with all this offense talk :DOGE

Are you trying to say reflect is worthless when assists are being called in block strings and I should not use it?
