His assist is "setup-in-a-can", and when he's out, just free oki. Good normals. Hellzone Grenade is (soap bar in my mouth)- its a level 1 super that gives YOU all the options when they block it. Mixxolo with his specials. Low damage midscreen in a game where 75% of combos will corner you so who cares.

Someone convince me otherwise.

Dunno what do you mean by "sleeper".

Piccolo has his Demon Elbows (236L/M/H) and Demon Slicers (214L/M/H) in his arsenal of counter mind games. If you add them with the HZG (HellZone Grenade) setup, it's a free 50/50. I use the Demon Slicers as a counter move to force them to respect this and not attack me. I rarely use the Demon Elbows, and I use them only if I want to get out of the corner, or just going to the other side to attack from behind. If you want to deal against the zoners, like Goku and Gohan, you might want to use H Demon Slicer, as Piccolo gets right above the zoner.

His assist is a free OKI, if you know when. Take as example Beerus. I try to do a 214M as Beerus, and then I try to summon the 6 orbs or only one orb (236M(H)), which the first takes more time than summoning the one orb, I'd need Piccolo's assist to delay my opponent's wakeup before I act. It's a very strong OKI, because his orb tracks the hurtboxes as close as it can, resulting of disabling the option to block it.

Problem is that Piccolo is one of the weaker characters in power. The strongest assist is Tien.

I use Piccolo in my team due of his free OKI.

Piccolo is one of those characters that not a lot of people use because he's a little different to play and not as easy. But people will soon realize how ridiculous he is.

Maybe I should learn a.gohan so i can see how on earth anyone could possibly say he struggles in neutral. I read that with my palms facing up in disbelief... that's like saying the nfl should just cancel the season because they aren't popular. I mean, if you're comparing him to goku black who gets to press anything all the time from everywhere then sure. By comparison he's weak i guess. My understanding is that a huge amount of JP players use a.gohan. probably wouldnt happen if his neutral was bad.

Essentially just that they're less popular - so less explored and/or underrated. Not necessarily broken, but certainly much better than what the majority thinks about them.

And Broly looks good. Saw a dunk, I'm sold. And lawd if those are his basic ki blasts, look at the size of them :confused:

He got that Nappa dunk! WOOOOO hes big as fuck and that green ball lvl 3. I wonder what his assist would be...regardless i see him being released very soon and very excited to try him out ;)

Spotted that, love a good dunk!

There were some command grab candidates in there too for sure. Something that looked like a L Auto included a grab like move (9secs in) might just look like grab though (like saibamen). The one at 14secs definitely looks like a cg to me. Hype level increasing.

That's why I switched my A Gohan to anchor and DHC him in. Have you thought about using Blueku on point? I've been messing with him and holy shit, he's fun.

rolling with Goku blue on point, A Gohan as an anchor and I'm looking for a mid.

Have anyone else had this problem, I fought fellow finnish player in ranked and our connection was flawless, but when we got to a ring match our connection was pretty bad. Also I was playing with @ShArp and he from Eu( Liethuenia I think, which is pretty close to Finland) and we had pretty bad connection in ring match.

Past week I have been having probs with ring match lag where casual matches were fine, no idea what the deal is.

Hell, i had a problem even connecting to a Ring match with a friend who lives in the same area as me lol. The connections are all over the place type fuckery. Even last night, i got booted from rooms and matches at least 5 times last night only playing an hour....

Why do you guys think Gohan's level 0 neutral is weak?

Only neutral buff he gets after install is tracking tele, which is great yes, but the rest of his top tier kit is still there from the get-go lol. 5M and 2M range is godlike, 5S is plus on block and stops super dashes, basic ki blast has an excellent angle while also creating space, Masenko beam, slight invincibility on DP, and he has an above average 2H.

I dunno, maybe it's just preference, but I prefer A.Gohan on point lately. Especially if he's the focus of the team.

I may have mis spoken. I don't personally think he's weak. He's great everywhere (except his assist in certain situations). It's a preference thing for me to put him as anchor because I'm messing around with Goku blue, who I believe needs to be a point.

I've seen G01 use him as a point with great success so its obviously not an issue. With his team setup its great, because even if you kill gohan, congrats buddy, now you have to deal with Cell lol.

I'm just playing around with building a team atm so I'm putting him as an anchor by default but it's certainly not set in stone

I have A.Gohan in point, like mentioned, he does well in any spot. I have cell and vegeta in my team too which helps alot in combos and pressure in mid screen. Usually I just wait till I have 2 Bars to get A.Gohan to lvl1 and switch to cell.
