Yeah dude I’ve been rocking him for a while now , Nappa > Frieza > Vegeta. Their synergy is actually hella fun. I’ve got (v situational) ToDs for both Nappa and Frieza now, think the Frieza one’s in his thread. Both lvl1s can be extended by Vegeta. Frieza assist is amazing for extending Nappa combos.

Also, check my comeback with Frieza 20 posts ago or so. Messy af, but hella hype nonetheless!

Anyone got any advice on when to use sparking mid combo to maximise dmg? My ToDs all involve prior activation.... 0 dmg plus scaling seems to setroy my output.

I have gotten to play this game literally once the past two weeks. If I dont go 0-2 at Final Round I’ll be shocked, lol.

I still haven't labbed sparking combos a ton, but right now I just do starter, 2M, 5M, sparking, then go into my standard 2M, 5M bnb.

I dropped this game (because me and a friend got into tekken 7 ) but i plan to comeback with the release of broly and bardock , is there new stuff , new discoveries since last month or is it pretty much the same ? and also is frame data finally released ?

Sooo... don’t really post match footage yet, as I’m kinda trash. Getting there (been stomping my fellow yellows for a while now) but time’s been limited of late and I spent the first couple of weeks largely in the lab.

That said I wanted to post my hypest comeback yet against an orange. Down to a nearly dead Frieza, against a full and fairly healthy for the most part “team fun kill”. My first 2 chars basically got 16’d. Having lost the first game, I won this and the third (also hype but not like this ). Enjoying what feels like a post coital bliss smoke now...

Without further ado:

Tbh he choked hard, and I made my share of mistakes. Still felt amazing tho.

Thats my 2nd game, but i think i suck at that now since ive been on that DBFZ. Minor things changed and no frame data.

Corner 2H cross-up after dragon rushing a character out has been nerfed for everybody. Its non-existent now. And Piccolo's Firework level 1 combo thingy has the shooting balls come from the background instead of just in the air.

Thanks dude! Yeah I was super happy with the DR, didn’t know how minus Black’s lvl1 would be on dhc, but gambled it’s be minus enough they’d want to block.

After I went gold, the original plan was to lvl3 immediately and catch him pressing buttons (people don’t know how quick he recovers it seems), but he got too close and I was worried I’d miss the input. Glad in the end because I think it would’ve whiffed when hit crossed me up. They must’ve been hella mad at that final drop lol.

They added party battle. The most requested feature first... it’s been a game changer

Srsly tho, only real improvement afaik is 30sec response time for matches.

You'll be quite surprised and relieved that offline is super nice. But you'll find some habits, combo's and your general game play might not be as good offline that work online and vise versa.

Online for this game is ass. Not afraid to say so.

His assist is "setup-in-a-can", and when he's out, just free oki. Good normals. Hellzone Grenade is retarded- its a level 1 super that gives YOU all the options when they block it. Mixxolo with his specials. Low damage midscreen in a game where 75% of combos will corner you so who cares.

Someone convince me otherwise.

Forever on my team. He's godlike.

Yeah Tekken is a monster of a game. I've been playing Steve, Leo and Paul.. though Ive been like 90% on DBFz since it dropped.

Yea his corner game is filthy. Like A. Gohan filthy. He's meter dependent midscreen but it doesn't matter when their in the corner. Hes point on my main team rn.

Talking about filth. Kid is the filth factory. Both midscreen and corner (in corner he's just dirty AF). I will upload some setups / matches soon.

I felt this way for awhile, it seems other A.Gohan point mains (for the most part) feel similarly. I find myself switching A.Gohan out as quickly as possible. Level 0 with no meter A.Gohan suffers in the neutral I feel. I believe Nakkiel said this awhile back, that he switched him off point so he could z change into his super. There’s actually a huge difference between lvl 0 and lvl1 A.Gohan, I have a hard time keeping pressure and opening people up with lvl 0 A.Gohan. I guess I’m gonna have to switch Black to point, because no way I’m running Vegeta point, lol.

I also need to use Vegeta’s assist more. For some reason I’m still not using it correctly or as often as I should.

I kinda really want the DLC to come out, I need some new characters!

@Juggs have u considered using Kid as point? My current main team is Kid/Vegeta/Black but Im about to switch Vegeta with A. Gohan to have him switching with Kid back and forth.

Kid has his great lockdown ball assist that really help A. Gohan to start shining with his mixups even in the midscreen ( fake overhead, crossups etc)

Yeah I used Kid in the beta. But I like my current team I just don’t like A.Gohan on point. I am gonna try another team though, was thinking A.Gohan, Kid and 16. But I really just want some new DLC characters
