It's all so very confusing.
My buddy I play with has just a disgusting cell very tough match up if he has both assists up and you lose neutral and get touched by him. I have no problem blocking his generic strings into assists but when he starts IAD OH and staggering strings in the middle of assists and knowing your just gonna be put back in the blender makes it very tough. His light auto combo catching backdashes on blocked vanish makes me salty.
Yeah he's nuts. The double M "command normal" with his insane 2M and incredible lights + command heavy that's a fucking stepping low he can chain a delayable H out of make his blockstring pressure enormously hard to challenge because he can do so much to alter the timing and order and just change things up.. it's terrifying to push a button out of that mess and if you're wrong he's going to take 40% of your health on the low end... And all that is not even considering using assists as well. He can lock you down indefinitely.

He's an amazing character. Super fun to play (any character that strong is going to be fun to play lol) and a hell of a compliment to any team. He's def a problem to deal with.

He and 16 are the only characters I look at and think MAYBE they should be toned down a little bit, and that's not exactly because he's leagues above everyone else - he's not. He's a step or two but it's not like SSS tier vs A or something - but because he's just so good at everything and everywhere that if you're just focused on winning, there's no reason you'd choose anyone else except 16.. and since this is a team game, bring 'em both, lol.

Yep. I've been lucky/unlucky depending on how you look at it in that no one I play uses AG, and I never run in to him.. so I've avoided his insanity thus far.

Consider yourself lucky he is really nasty with his iad crossover 2s i think it is that drops him to the ground.

Also, I cannot get the last part of this fucking loop. Ugh. Should be 5400ish 1 bar damage and nearly full screen corner carry.. CANNOT land the damn last part =\

The combo I'm talking about is teen Gohan though, I kind of threw it in there after mentioning a adult Gohan Without Really explaining myself. If you still want the transcription I'll be more than happy to write it down as soon as I get to work.

-any air sequence to finish-

I recommend something like j.LL j.LLL or j.LL j.LL-236.M. you may be able to squeeze an S in that j.LL-236.M after the LL. You can or course optimize the ending air sequence, but I'm so lucky to get that far I just keep it ultra simple. Don't forget to keep hitting H (probably any button works) after the 236.H so you get all the follow-up hits.

Also anywhere you see a " - " used in my notation, that doesn't mean anything, it's just there to make the notation easier to parse. Something like j.LLS2S is harder for me to read easily so I use the little dash line to make it cleaner.

*the delayed SD is where I'm stuck right now. A decent target for the timing is listen for the explosion sound of your 2S hitting the ground and hit SD then it seems like you want the SD as late as absolutely possible while still being a combo. I can hit the SD no problem, and get the last J.MS-2S, but unless that SD is late enough you don't land on time for the grounded 236.H to connect.

Damage, depending on how you end should be around 5040 on the low end and around 5400 on the high end, one bar, solo. Corner carry is literally the entire stage. You can start it in the corner facing out and end with them splatted in the opposite corner of the stage.

You can do interesting things with it as well, like at the second j.MS-2S section after the pain in the ass SD, you can just do like j.M-2H 6L1 or L2 to tag in a team member to finish the combo in a sliding splat and whatever is appropriate.. Using Hit here as my tag damage was something like 4400 meterless 5 or 5.2 for a bar (I forget which) and around 6k-6.2 for three bars if you end with Hit's lv3. I'd guess you could be silly here and DHC for 70%+ if you had the kill.

I got it its a pretty fun combo actually, they timing after the 2s is a lil annoying. As soon as I thought of it as not canceling the sd from the 2s I started to get it consistently if that makes sense.

So what’s the secret to get this game to actually let you finish a match? I get a network error in over 50 percent of my matches. It’s almost unplayable. This using a wired connection.

I got it its a pretty fun combo actually, they timing after the 2s is a lil annoying. As soon as I thought of it as not canceling the sd from the 2s I started to get it consistently if that makes sense.
I'd love to know how you got it that fast. I can get everything up to landing the 236.H. I land the SD just fine, no problem with the second j.ms-2s after the SD either... But after that part, I cannot get the fucking 236.h to connect. I've gotten it a handful of times, but I literally ground that combo for over three hours straight today. I mean zero'd in, just repeating.

So, help me to understand the timing you used.. you do the first section into the bomb loop, are you SDing as late as absolutely possible or rather quickly after the j.ms2s ? And when you SD into the second j.ms2s, anything special timing wise there? Or just bang it out as soon as the SD connects?

I'm pretty consistent on everything, but the 236.H doesn't land and it's killing me.

I'm doing my practice on Goku, but im swapping to small bodies occasionally just to tighten up sections since it's harder to land it all on the little guys.

I think I see then. If you're doing the 236.h and most times it doesn't come out, but when it does you're hitting it.. I think you're doing that faster than me. When it doesn't come out it seems like it's because your still like one frame in the air or something, I had/have that happen occasionally. I'll bet I'm not being crisp enough on landing.

And yeah it's interesting in delay.. all my practice has been at 2 or 3 frames, I change it up some.

Seems "PINK"s like to rq aswel... Cant trust any color man, thats so fked up. Why even play the game if u cant accept loosing and learning from your mistakes to improve later on..
A lot of pink squares RQ and that’s HOW they got pink, it’s messed up. It’s irritating taking your loss like an adult like you’re supposed to, then at least 80% of the time you win the opponent rage quits. I always know when the pink squares are going to RQ... because the ones that do are terrible. I’m like “how is this guy a pink square”... then get the *Lost Connection* pop up and then you just go “oh, that’s how he’s pink”. So dumb.

Anyway, still trying to balance work, family, exercising/working out, a social life AND DBFZ let alone video games. I need all of those things to stay sane, wish I didn’t need work but I do. I still love the game just can’t grind as much as I was a couple of weeks ago. I am going to get bodied at Final round easily, but at least I’ll get to see GO1 vs SF in person. Ah well, life is life.

I actually really like 16 as a character, just not enough for my first squad. Actually preferred him in the anime to 17/18. I’ve decided not to use him for the time being, as I think he might get touched. No opinion yet on whether he should.

Edit, but probably...
