Thats a tricky one. You can try Kid Buu. His assist will work wonders applying pressure with 16 and they compliment each other.

Uncle JBeezY was actually kicking ass with a secondary team lol. The all Goku HA! Yeah i know, dirty but fuck that. Call me Rick Flair cuz i wanna be the dirties player in the game!

Goku Blue is awkward as fuck tho....You most certainly can NOT do the same air combos with ki blast like you can SS Goku because his ki blast knocks the opponent straight down and its not even a knockdown. Weird. Still trying to find how their combos link together but hey, only played that team for an hour & 30mins lol.

I actually wanna try Frieza. He's the most effective zoner out of the cast that can be really cheap as fuck. Cuz after i got my ass kicked by a really good Frieza, im trying to be on that level. So NOW im trying out new teams cuz i feel my Kid Buu, Black, Vegeta has reached their limit at this point n time. Its time to try new teams for new dirt to reach new heights!

But here's a question for y'all. What rank are you guys at now ?Question mark? Supreme Kai - Yellow Square ovah here! HEEEEEY!

It's all so very confusing.
watching NLBC v.104 this morning on YouTube. I dont know why, but I find character choice and such fascinating, especially early in a games life. Its fun to see how things evolve and change and look back and how right or wrong we were.

So, based on the vids Spooky posted:

(I might fuck up some names here, but it should be functional, most teams are in order, but one or two may not be)

SonicSol: Trunks - Cell - SS Goku (pretty sure this one isnt in order)
DeSkillSage: 16 - Black - SS Vegeta (dunno about order.. I THINK its right)
Shine: 18 - Yamcha - Black
Wrath: 18 - Frieza - SS Goku
MasterMike: Hit - Yamcha - Tien
Necro Undine: 18 - SS Goku - SS Vegeta
GroverDP: Adult Gohan - Black - SS Vegeta
SonicFox: Black - Hit - 16 (I forget order)
NikiMakisomethingorother: Cell - Black - Kid Buu
OmniScythe: Cell - SS Vegeta - Black
TheJRivera: 21 - Beerus - Kid Buu

So we had:

6 Goku Blacks
3 Cells
3 A18s
3 SS Gokus
4 SS Vegeta


Better than I thought given we had some Yamchas and Hits, a 21, a Frieza (Even if the guy got wrecked), a Trunks.. Only AG which surprised me. Only one Beerus. We had a Tien. Not a bad spread. No Ginyu's or Krellin's. No Blues at all that I saw. No Piccolo or Gotenks of Fat Buu. No Nappa.

Im surprised though. I thought id see more Cell's and even more Goku Blacks than I did. I honestly thought it would be 75~% Goku Blacks. So that's nice, lol

Just some observations.

Whats the average damage for say a 1 bar 1 assist corner combo with blgoku? A practical one not that shit that starts with a 2m, delayed 5m, ias.

This game has a lot of vaible characters and a lot of potential left unexplored considering it has only been out for a few weeks.

ok after deliberating for a while I got my team that I'm gonna roll with for a while:
Teen Gohan - point
Vegeta - battery
Goku - Anchor

gonna swap in Bloku and Adult Gohan from time to time as well.

Now that I understand when to do it Hellzone grenade is so freakin dirty, no one has ever been able to block the mix when I set HG up.

My brother uses black frieza and vegeta. He hardly zones as well, stays in your face and abuses the more or less heavys to interupt and punish. My belief that frieza is a sleeper is his fault lol. Frieza in my brothers hands is my worst matchup lol.

Frieza is a complex creature with sooooo many layers! But i want to learn em all. Like ....when he goes Gold, how long does he have that form until he cools down? And i heard that you're supposed to press something so his cooldown will shorten? Some shit like that

I’m actually toying with Frieza alongside Veg/Nap. To answer Q’s I think it’s 20 secs of Gold Frieza, if you press S as he stumbles out of it, one of his goons will cover the recovery with a small blast (for a bar). He’s also got access to his lvl3 wakeup (hold R2 when knocked down)

Also, you can tag him out while gold. His assist and DHC damage is buffed and the countdown to debuff is halted. Assist and DHC (if immediately followed by another) don’t reduce timer, only tagging him in will do so.

Edit, you can also combo into and out of gold in the corner by cancelling 5H

Double edit, and midscreen with 2m(gold)5m
